The number of shares in issue, and therefore in your holding, has been reduced by a factor of 20
To keep the market cap of the company (approx) the same the share price has increased by a factor of (approx) 20.

End result - you own the same % of the company as you did before, at about the same value. It's a cosmetic adjustment that may increase the attractiveness of the company to US/Canadian investors who don't like penny stocks.

Nothing to worry about.

The share price has been multiplied approx 20x but your number of shares has been divided by 20
So you end up where you were

Might do, but only if they see buyers

I'm not sure it's going to bust out spectacularly. There are plenty of impatient holders with low cost prices who might sell into any rally. But the trend will be up for sure, the basic investment case is very strong.

Makes sense, IMHO. Too easy to get caught out trading.

The trouble with looking at it like that is that it takes no account of how the company is doing. You’d have to see how the share price does vs one or more valuation metrics, like P/E. If the co. gets more undervalued post consolidation then you could call that a negative response, if it goes the other way you could call that a positive response

I think the post asked whether another poster would open a position in SNG now if they had never held it. Personally I wouldn't, but then if I don't think it's worth having at this price, why am I still holding? This is the inconsistency I was trying to point out. Poly aren't in the same situation so what I was trying to say doesn't really apply to them.

Who says they aren't? Judging by their most recent trades (that we know of) their view is clear and consistent. They are not only holding on to their expensive stock, they have added.
