"The only way you could reasonably predict that is if you knew that the Activ-2 data was good and that they were applying for EUA. That’s the only thing that kick this share price back to the old levels immediately."
Or you may have become aware of negotiations about a possible JV, takeover, or other corporate action.
*rebooked
Looks like a bunch of trades booked separately to one client, then cancelled and rebooted as one trade. I'm too lazy to check the average price of the separate trades though.
Few better buy signals than directors buying.
More generally, I would suggest that we have a different view of what posts on here are "useful". Many posts are wild and, sadly, ignorant speculation. Some are inexcusbly damaging .. "RMlooked really positive" for example.
I understand that some of my posts seem critical. But I think correcting misconceptions about how the market and the wider securities industry works is useful.
"Freethecaterham with the greatest of respect as you constantly criticise myself and others and contribute nothing, you are the last person I am going to share my techniques with!"
Fair enough. When I was in the industry (now 3 years retired) we didn't often try to figure out who was buying or selling. The trade data was mysteriously opaque. The best clue to whether or not there was a serious buyer or seller around was the RSP trades you missed. Also we weren't that bothered - we just reacted to what trades we saw, relative to what positions we had. If you are an investor rather than a trader I can see you might have a different pov.
@Sharedealer2019, what do you look for in the trade ticker to give you clues about who is buying?
"Not mischief making at at all , just general concern, about getting carried away with sentiment because they have put a spade in the ground"
Bull****. That’s not what you said. You specifically raised a concern about dilution. Nothing to do with other posters’ +ve reactions to the RNS.
If overruns exceed expectations it might turn out that in 18 months they need to top up. Could quite likely be done via debt closer to production.
To raise it as a short term concern makes no sense at all.
Looks more like mischief making tbh. You must be aware of the recent strategic fund raise. To suggest that the consolidation is to pave the way for further equity raise is nuts.
He’s spent less than £12, 000.
It’s mildly positive but no more than that
I don't think that is unreasonable, but it might take a day or two for the news to get widespread
"Is 20% uplift enough to represent that or should it be more?"
Currently up about 35% which is a bit more like it. I do think this is quite an important RNS though, we were flat on our backs on the canvas and are now upright and landing some shots. One of Takeover, trial partnership or platform trial looks odds on and there is more evidence o the drug being very effective in particualr groups and therefore a a higher chance that any new trial will bear fruit.
Just this second got it
Go easy bro
Yes, it looks as though we might still be in the game
Ha ha I think the RNS may have already been out when I typed that…….
There seems to be some promising stuff in the RNS.
Unlike Andybe4 I’m not expecting anything decisive today or this week from the company. No RNS, and a boring presentation.
No.
"keeping us uplifted with the hope of good news"
This may be a minority view but I don’t see that as a positive. It was the hope of good news that got many of us in a mess.
The useful comments are the realistic ones, not the over optimistic ones.
@Brighty said " we are still on track"
We are nowhere near on track.
