Casapinos - if OR has met you and chatted with you then that’s good enough for me and I will go back to my original view of you being a genuine poster (but I look forward to hearing that you’ve changed your mind about Sirius)!

Don’t want to shut you up Casapinos as you obviously know your stuff and I like to hear all the different views but shareholders shouldn’t be shareholders if they allow themselves to be influenced and it’s not blind faith its weighing everything up and doing what you think best not for the short term but the long term

Casapinos - to me it does seem like you’re trying to justify to yourself and us why you sold. It is now coming across like you’re going on a bit. I really felt you were a genuine poster but a tiny voice in my head is finding your posts a bit odd now - it’s like you’re on a mission to save some of us - I don’t want to be saved - I know what could happen and I’ve still decided not to sell

Nokesa - I think it’s very honest of you to say how you’re feeling and I’m sure you’re not alone. I’m a terrible Sirius investor bec I have totally gone with my gut and a couple of things have happened that have made me also think it’s also fate! Not a thing to admit on a board like this I know. Luckily I have stumbled across a board where there are enough genuine informative posters that I have been able to research this a lot more (something I know I should have done more of in the first place). But like all boards I’m sure there are some on here I shouldn’t admit that to but nothing they can say will influence me. I’ve learnt not to listen to friends, none of them know as much about Sirius as I do. I have put much more money into this than I probably should have done - I can just about afford to lose it but if I do I will be in big trouble with my husband and my dream of helping my children and their children will be gone. But the one thing I have got is time. I feel like I’ve time to ride the time delays and storms. I am expecting a rocky ride, am expecting to feel rubbish and to lose paper money (like now). Know that I could have played it better like Casapinos has suggested but I am not prepared to risk ‘that good news’ RNS dropping when we least expect it and I don’t want to lose any shares. But that’s just me. I know we won’t get much news until next year but am sure we may get some TorPs news in the next few weeks - if you believe in this project that will be exciting, not worthless. Good luck to all LTH and as Alan would say keep the faith and I do think it takes a certain type of investor to be invested here. Feel like I’m going on a scary trip so getting all my thoughts down!! PS if I don’t come back don’t let my husband sell my shares (only joking)!

Thank you - I’m excited and a bit nervous! Hope I don’t get lost in India! Alan - that is exactly what Mr Fred said re poverty - he’s been and was keen for me to go (probably wants to get me out of the way and stop me nagging him about Sirius)!

I’m going to India this week and I’ve had a strong feeling three things were going to happen around the time I was away - one happened on Fri, the other has happened slightly (thank goodness) - and the other was we would get positive news from Sirius and I wouldn’t have wifi! I didn’t think we would be where we are and how extra positive the timing of it would be - but then I never thought I would be reading about SBR machines on a Sunday morning!

I do agree with MrMath - I should add that I have reached a target that I’m happy with and have promised my long suffering husband I won’t buy anymore (although in the long run he’ll be a very happy husband)

All I can say is what I did - rightly or wrongly - originally bought in at 25p using money not meant for shares - and then bought more at 17p with more money not meant for shares. Although still in the red it made me feel a lot better lowering my average - then I went and spoilt it all by topping up at 30p which put me back to my original average. There are quite a few that would probably say wait until Stage 2 and then top up if it goes badly which may well be good advice. But I topped up again last week at 23p (with money that was okay to spend on shares) and even if the price drops below 20p in the next weeks - to me in a few years who cares bec I’ve def got them. But I totally believe this mine will get built and if you don’t then perhaps best not to buy any more.

I know this is another weird and stupid post (the £1 party is now probably a bit further off and everyone will have forgotten by then) but I would just like to say I do appreciate posts from my favourite posters, and that includes many. Days like today when non favourite posters pop up making people who are in the red who are already feeling a bit rubbish even more rubbish. My favourite posters aren’t necessarily ‘happy clappy’ posters (although I do secretly quite like that) but posters who say it as it is, say what they think, even if it is negative but written in a way that’s genuine and informatiive. This board is great for me bec it’s great to know that other people are in the same boat on good days and not so good days. So I hope my favourite posters keep posting on days like today and my non favourite posters don’t (hope Scotman is asleep and doesn’t read this)!

You do get posters criticising others for having all their eggs in one basket. It’s all very well for those who have huge portfolios that can afford the luxury of heavily investing in other stocks as well as Sirius to critise. Let’s face it most people don’t have any eggs to invest in any basket. Nothing has changed (apart from extra money needed to derisk announced recently) - everything else is going full steam ahead every hour of every day. Except we are at one of the most crucial stages and no one likes uncertainty . Plus I’m sure the most ‘perfect’ portfolios are down across the board. We all know there are no guarantees as far as the stock market goes - it’s a ‘grown up world’ - I have had more than my fair share of friends advising me against putting so much into Sirius. But I wouldn’t change it - Sirius is my one shot at making a difference, plus if it goes as I hope it will, make a difference generally, I don’t want to dilute that shot and I’m well aware of everything I need to be.

Sure you can get pumpkin beer and gin as well!

The only thing is when we look back the investors that have stuck with it the longest and through the rubbish times will get the greater satisfaction and actually that feeling will be worth a lot .....well I think it will! And I’m a relative newbie!

All I can say is (know I’ve said it before and it’s boring) when I first bought into Sirius I used our extension money without telling my husband bec I knew he wouldn’t) and almost immediately lost £7k. I was never worried about Sirius. I obv felt really bad for doing what I did. I couldn’t tell him until they had made a slight profit but it seemed like ages (17p days). So I can relate a bit to how you’re feeling Spiverine, and it’s obvuously not great, but I’ve always had a gut feeling about Sirius so although no one can really advise you - all I can say is I’m not going through all that for nothing - I’m not selling! And I’m back in the red again after having reached a milestone target which I know I will reach again - and more!

I’m not disappointed in the Company - we’ve had the update - I can only imagine everyone’s working round the clock to balance all the different aspects of stage 2/TorPs which they can’t update us on as that’s too sensitive. Some people talk as if it’s easy to try and achieve what Sirius want to? It was never going to be easy - in my view there were always going to be weeks like this. As we can all see from the general climate - nothing much is easy at the moment. All elements of construction going full steam ahead. Whatever is going on with the share price the company will be aware of it - it’s much bigger than anything I can do - the only thing I get annoyed about is the posters that post they are waiting for a rock bottom entry price - glad for anyone genuine to get a good deal but how can anyone who’s researched the share and seen all that’s been achieved so far say the share is worth 15p?
