I’m going to India in Nov - how great if something was announced while I was there!

Hi LL, that is why I read this board as I do! I like to read about all the different views of the informed posters and won’t be ignoring them!

I know what I’m going to do - ignore posters who come on here and think they’re clever by predicting the lowest share price they can think of, ignore shorters (or whatever the correct term is), ignore MM’s (not sure what they do but if they are against us ignore them), ignore (a little) someone close to home who really was about to buy when the share price dropped last week and then wouldn’t buy at 23p, ignore people who can’t get it into their heads that this is a massive huge project that will at times have to make difficult decisions which might cause share price to be unpredictable - all that doesn’t mean I’m not facing the reality of it all - I am - I KNOW things could go wrong (I am not stupid) and people will make more money out of this share than me in the short term - good luck to them - but I am not going to let any of the people I’m ignoring get hold of my shares bec I will wait until they are worth a lot of money

I bought some more at 30p around Easter - which was over my average - I could have waited and as it happens could have bought at 23p but decided in the long run 30p was going to seem cheap so wanted to make sure of getting them and not risk it

Oh dear! I can't believe I've posted 1000 posts! I really am very sorry! When I came on here I called myself Fred16 because it's my lucky name and number and I never intended to post more than 1 post but I've just got carried away so many times because I've loved being part of this board. I've learnt so much and appreciate all the factual posts which I do realise are a lot more beneficial to this board than mine! But if you haven't filtered me I wouldn't have blamed you at all if you had!!

I’m sure half the posts are missing here, yesterday I said I’d throw my phone out of the window - not saying that again as by mistake I actually threw it away in black bin - thank goodness I eventually found it before binmen came. But it’s def not right again today which is annoying - very good that we got back to Port 30 so quickly this time

Surely this should answer the FT article a bit and some others who were questioning ‘the market for our product’? I had that thrown a couple of times at me recently - this news should put them in their place!

I don’t know about leaks but I always felt it was quite obvious there was going to be an RNS with TorPs news soon. CF and BOD know exactly what they are doing

Don’t include me in that! I think last couple of weeks has been a good time for people to know whether they are comfortable with their investment - if they are not then they did the right thing if they sold. Nothing has made me re-think it - I’m very comfortable!

I must admit I struggled a bit yesterday with some of the comments about Gina. I felt I must be missing something. I don’t see someone like her ‘coming to our rescue’ or ‘throwing good money after bad’. She obviously thinks SXX is bang on target, satisfied with Stage 2 negotiations and happy overall which surely is really positive. So what if she’s got a really good deal - those with money make money. When the builder who renovated our house before we bought it made a heap of money I didn’t care, we still have done fine out of it and would never have had the expertise to do what he did and our house wouldn’t be worth what it is today. That’s his job and why he does well out of it. As soon as we bought the housing market crashed so on paper we were in the red for a few years - not any more. How can people resent Gina for obviously being very successful at what she does and negotiating a very good deal for herself? CF could have walked away, he didn’t so he obviously thought it was the best route for SXX to take. We’ve got a long way to go before production in what has turned out to be a very difficult climate - a lot of people are very nervous at the moment. It is a pity it wasn’t announced before or at the same time as last week but either there was a leak or we can’t second-guess it. Anyway it’s the weekend - feel free to have a go or tell me I’m wrong!

Two RNS’s - last week, when a difficult decision had to be taken to allow stage 2 to progress and now today which is giving def signs it’s all looking more positive. Being a shareholder in Sirius is a bit like having arguements with your other half - things go downhill and it’s not pleasant but after you get back up that hill and things look a lot brighter and clearer (was going to say it’s fun making up - but better not on share chat)! I’m back to enjoying the climb up again (for as long as it lasts) Expect to have a few more ‘arguements’ with Sirius but hopefully they’ll be not too bad - no pain no gain!

Andy, I’m really not scared - if anything I’m quite excited. I’m a LTH bec I don’t know how to be anything else. I haven’t got the experience or don’t feel I have the luck to take advantage of the ups and downs. Nobody liked what happened last week but when I went into this I expected it to be volatile - obviously I would rather it wasn’t but projects like this usually are.

I only ask bec I want to go and look at that stone or whatever it was - bec it must have been lucky!

You did okay rekrab! I’m trying to remember if it was you who days before you sold were sitting in a park and read something that was written on a stone? Might have been someone else but can’t quite remember the story! Just ignore me if I’ve got that wrong - but glad it worked out for you!

I wonder if 23/25p pre Stage 2 (after lastweekgate) will be the 17/19p of post Stage 1. After stage 2 could well be a different story

AlanG - I do actually really enjoy being on the same side as you and so much easier than the ‘occasional’? times we’ve had opposing views! And I love hearing your stories and don’t mind how many times you tell us about Dana. This board needs you at the moment!
