Plus Mr Fred knew about it today - can’t say he was ‘over the moon’ which made it slightly more stressful!

I must say if I’m honest I was scared when I bought today - the board was so negative yesterday and it felt like when I first bought in going against people’s advice - but I just had that strong gut feeling that I had two years ago! I’m well aware of the risks but unlike some who are waiting for the ‘magic 20 or magic 15’ entry points - I’d just rather get the shares now and to me how do you know when you’re at the bottom? plus my mum was pushing me to do it again! Plus Trooper bring mentioned again!

On this occasion it has paid off to nag - and in spite of some predictions on here on how much this share price is going to drop further I’ve just topped up at 23.2 - I don’t care if it drops a bit further - to me I feel very lucky to have been able to top up at this price - now like PAAA, I’m going to take my dog for a walk in the sunshine and not worry any more about share prices

After catching up on today’s posts - I know what I’d do for a reality check if I could. First thing tomorrow blag my way into the site and stand there watching tomorrow’s progress. Can’t do that so what I will do is not read this board, not watch any news, not look at anything financial. Everything going on with Sirius at the moment is out of my control except sell my shares and seeing as I don’t plan to do that for a few years - I’ll just wait and see what they are worth then

I honestly don’t believe it’s a leak - it’s like Chinese whispers - but Stage 2 is a huge negotiation so people are bound to be apprehensive - but the mine is being built as normal

John2015 - I could have written your post - my average is 25.5 and that’s what I have felt I should have been doing - top slicing! And thats why I feel disappointed I can’t have some money sitting there to at least buy some more if I want to, not blindly, if I want to!

Gosh had quite a long day today and been trying to read all the posts and understand them. This board is great when we’re on a high but it’s also great on days like today when you can read everyone’s thoughts.(even if I do get a bit lost). I did expect this volatility as it was never going to be that easy - what I didn’t expect was to feel so unsettled about not being able to increase my holding at these prices. Made all the more frustrating by someone very close to home who keeps telling me we’ve got enough who actually has a little spare cash to buy some. It’s probably sensible to wait to see what happens at Stage 2 but if it does present a favourable opportunity for shareholders or it goes much lower then there is no way I’m not taking advantage of it - he’s wrong we haven’t got enough and I’m sure I always used to be better at getting my own way!

Obviously this is just me but the few fund managers I have met say they wouldn’t buy Sirius yet - there’s no need for them to unless they are managing a portfolio of someone who wants high risk and can wait a few years. Why would they add Sirius if their annual figures might be affected or even their bonus? There are no definite dividends for a few years yet and it doesn’t matter to them if they come in at a later date and have to pay more - their clients won’t realise as they leave it all to them. I never realised you could ‘do it yourself’ until I bought Sirius. That’s why personally so many people I know have questioned me. I’m trying to treat Sirius as though I’ve bought a load of premium bonds - my £5 party comment was a bit tongue in cheek, and it’s hard to believe now - I still think if all goes well and in time it could happen - but otherwise try and forget about my shares/premium bonds and wait for the day I realise they aren’t premium bonds but shares that have made me a lot of money!

Thank you Jonesy for all your closing price posts - for the £5 party you can come in the poshest plane we can find that will fly ‘us southerners’ up north for the £5 party (if they won’t come down South)!

PS - well .... obviously i’d sell if I really really thought I had to .... I’m not totally stupid

Well said GK - why do some who post here assume everyone on this board is like me? We have some of ‘the best’ on here who know exactly what they are doing and why would they panic? Even I don’t panic - ever - and that’s saying something bec I actually worry about everything but never this share. And even with posts like the latest from skier1 with all his trying to make investors like me panic. All I think is why would you post on here on a Sat afternoon if you’re not even interested in this share? I just don’t get it - I know exactly what I’m doing, I’m very very aware of the current climate, I listen to the news, read newspapers and I don’t need to be reminded of all that rubbish - it’s real and happening - I know - the share price may go down further, I could make money but I’m scared to call it wrong so I don’t mind a paper loss if I have to have one - I know it won’t be for ever and I can wait and I AM NOT GOING TO SELL OR PANIC

I admit I’m one of the posters who bought with my heart and not my head - I used ‘house money’ as well but at least I’m not homeless - could have been! I also know that I’m very grateful to this board for how much I’ve learnt and now I can say my heads involved as well! I don’t care about shorters, they are not shaking me out of this share - I know they’ll make more money than me but I can safely say that I’m prepared to wait for as long as it takes. I know that probably shows my heart is still ruling my head but at least it’s not so one sided as it was.

I often wonder if people I know or meet are invested in Sirius. I’ve had a couple of coincidences where since I’ve bought them a friend’s daughter who works in the city (she’s a bit of a high flyer) had some but sold a while ago, (was buying a house), another friend who I rarely see bec she lives in Yorkshire was on holiday in Barbados and met a man reading a newspaper by the pool who told her he was very excited by a company called Sirius so she bought some, another friends husband was going to buy them and never did (that’s sounds familiar). One of my other friends didn’t realise she had any until she looked into her pension plan - think that’s quite unusual. Would be funny if the man by the pool with the newspaper was someone who posted on here!!
