VW had a software program called CARIAD the responsibility to develop this was given to a few directors. Instead of working together they competed with one another. So 2billion Euro later they have a software platform that cannot be transfered between

To clarify I was referring to KZG although I made a lot of money in that share on the original spike due to Giles Clark referring to the lithium in the tantalite mine. I sold out near the top not by skill but more by luck. I followed that share for years not invested but kept a close eye on it. They were to put it mildly very Devious lot and I would not touch them with a barge pole.

Geomet has its own internal timeline. It is not clear what the purpose or application of this is. From an outsiders point of view we are going to miss the boat on the wider market. They say that CEZ is going to build it's own giga factory but I see no expertise being lined up to achieve this . This is a company in the eye of the biggest material shortages ever and it is doing nothing except working towards it's bfs at a very leisurely pace.

A article has just popped up on my phone. A new company is going to produce 38gw/h of battery cells in the UK. Timescale 2 years. No mention of where the nickel and lithium is coming from. EMH outside this timescale. What a s**t show.

That is a very valid point. Elon has sorted his supply up to a point but is still very constrained by battery supply.The move to LFP was due to nickel supply and prices. Then you have the management of goemet living in a different reality. Published timescales for development are so slow they are in danger of missing the chance of making a premium. I just do not get it. There is obviously an non published agenda I see no other reason why making extra money is not an incentive.

VW has lost control of supply chain. The prices have increased so much VW has a serious problem at this point. They are locked in for years with the contract they got also the wrong chemistry it should be LFP now not very expensive NMC for non performance cars. That's not the only problem their flagship software program CARIAD has hit the buffers billions wasted they are in very serious trouble.

I think the guy is on some magic dust. Tesla has just opened its gigs factory they have an order book a mile high. By that date the only ICE cars will be collectables. The Chinese are also knocking EV under 20k ICE uncompetitive

The only thing holding this back is the 2026 production date. This means naff all till end of 2024
