Looks like BMW has signed huge deal for 4680 type cells from CATL. This to be ready for 2026.The size is in gigawatts range so looks like BMW going all in. CATL is building a huge factory in hungry(I think) so looking at my crystal ball it looks like everything has to be running 2025/2026 so construction must start in 2024.As a footnote present planned output not even close.

I am thinking of selling all my portfolio and putting it in KOD. The only big risk I see is if the market cracks before the rise.

Yes there is definitely political noise somewhere. I have had a really good run on EMH 11p to 96 then again from 26 to 79 pulled plug in February when RNS was just bull I thought it would have recovered by now but obviously I was wrong. I think EMH has become a zombie project the brakes have been applied but not for technical reasons but as you say political reasons. China has big problems at moment. But the CCP have set EV as a priority so pressure is on the processing factories to keep the battery industry we'll supplied to try and get a price in supply chain lower.

Don't count on VW at moment there has been a huge bust up at board level. The man in charge at believes in synthetic fuels as answer to carbon cost at moment. So look for a bit of chaos for a while. They have learned that you cannot sell a Nissan leaf type care with a fancy radio for 55 grand. So they are not in a good place at moment.
