You'd think VC's would be more savvy if they're willing to offer so much money for so little shares in a private company whose valuation is pulled out of thin air. Especially if they are so hard to sell.

I thought all companies had to produce annual accounts which tend to include balance sheets, asset values etc... There should be something in there to justify the valuation, surely.

The last news release about OXL001 progress was in June 2023. If you look at the capital chart on their website investor section it was valued at £254m in July 2023. They then acquired NXP001 in September and now they are worth £350m. The only other newsworthy events in that period was joining the CMS Equip programme and charging their registered address.

Is it really so doubtful, given the available information?

It's good news for their shareholders anyway.

My expectations are pretty much shattered here. I'm just watching out of interest to see who ends up with our IP once the money finally runs out....and who goes with it.

My only hope is that if/when someone finally makes a move then someone else might just be waiting in the shadows to upset the apple cart for a little bit more.

If DG still holds his 35m shares (not sure cos we haven't seen any TR1's in a while) that means he's lost a whopping £4,147,500 in value since the good old days.

His current valuation (if he still holds shares cos we haven't seen any TR1's in a while) would be: £52,500.

No. Just surprised we didn't have a platform for ourselves given our outstanding results so far in developing an IPF treatment that it has been said could complement or even rival the current standards of care plus our pioneering use of computerised modelling in our own treatments.

Anyway, as I've already said, our priority should surely be on those ongoing discussions? They must be getting close to revealing something now given the lack of updates since Q2. Don't you agree?
