There are different variations on the P/E ratio, such as trailing, forward, and adjusted P/E, which use different measures of earnings.
I have used trailing PE which is correct for the valuation I have made.
As a measure i have the below for a TTM:
H2 '23 NET income 298.80m
H1 '24 NET income 21.80m
This roughly aligns with the P/e ratio you see on platforms like Google finance.
I total get this is a crude measure and if you can split all the one offs out then that's where you can often get an advantage by seeing where the true value lies.
Right now I'm more concerned about their forward looking statements as that'll set the tone for the next 12 months.
