Dr Rocks has assured us that geology at Lancaster is same for Lincoln.

Based on the associated Resources in Lincoln - FFD would have at least four to six wells crestally at LC. Key is landing full wellbore as high up as possible - fork pattern worked well on Lancaster, so for Lincoln this can easily be repeated. To drill in opposite direction would mean well would most likely have to be drilled deeper - experimentation should be the last idea on HE minds post WD.

Discovered Resources have a level of certainty which makes planning for future outcomes essential - not at all premature. Takes time to get bids in etal, operation 'interruption' is just a whim now - first buyer will be for Centrica share of Spirit. Need two buyers if HUR is to be interrupted - most unlikely without committed development plans for Warwick & Halifax. Commitment to develop means still 18 months wait for production. Tie backs to AM look too far for both WC and HC.

LC news must start filtering in early this week, fishing was AM love now that’s preforming above expectation! Now fishing over on LC, well to perform better than post WD sentiment. LC news should push HUR SP back up to mid 50’s again, two producers heading for three. Great to have three solid FB producers next year. Hope HUR/Spirit are organising new boat for WC too - early planning key.

Thought you were going to deliver on LC drill insight - as you said you could have saved us on WD, any news? Drilling yet? Losses? ..we are all waiting.

AS & AM been mated for long time - full load - well done to those in the know! So 1 million BO milestone produced and no RNS from HUR. SP fried and still playing M&M... HE could have also stated that Perched Water assumption was correct(?) toooo... so many opportunities to inform their credentials as a new producing company.

These wells produced water back lost in the drilling phase - not pure formation water. 7Z flowed 100% oil pre-tie back to AM. Perched water seen on producing via AM.

Always good to have new insight on this BB, what do you know about whether the build section is now drilled and has/when casing being run? Look forward to your news.

How would you have helped us with WD ops? Even Dr Rocks was over confident...

..that is not right at all! global supply increasing eg Guyana (no oil production today) will 'soon' be producing more than UK North Sea; big discoveries in Eastern Mediterranean; massive new Shale Oil in Argentina ... global oil resources are abundant! ie not finite in our life time nor 'falling'

...not easy seeing oil demand - supply trends at peak. Do remember peak is 100 million BO every day! That is a lot of oil, mature fields decline at 3-7% per year so still need significant new developments to just maintain current production. What has changed in oil market is that $80-100/BO is very unlikely and >$100/BO is extremely unlikely. So price fluctuations are present indicating oil industry needs to get on as 5-10 years from now new development will be hard to sanction unless politically driven or to meet local needs. The latter will still mean good work for many! even if oil demand drops by 2% per year which would be a dramatic new era for everyone.

...FB is hard enough - having drilling clangers too now on both wells drilled this year is certainly not helping, with SP frying. Hopefully WC will be drilled with due care and attention, third time would certainly be very careless. Not sure HUR contracting ‘strategy’ working. Be interesting when they drill and test Halifax next year if ops will be error free. Once is ok - could just be unluckily (did seem school boy error), twice is careless, three times is ...

Once casing in, come on the losses!

...sounds like casing being run at weekend. Someone must see that! only lost 1 week, well well. Let's all hope they get it ''around the corner" first time. Losses next week - and we can all go on holiday!

..nice problem to have - plus very health oil production, hopefully well supported by OGA historical volumes for May, issued 1st September. AM doing very nicely, sure Spirit is very envious!

..better question would be is P10 actually oil industry P90 or is P10 = P10 Oil Industry. WW what did your P10 actually mean? Oil Industry definition would be in all likely cases FB reservoir encountered by day 38? ..meam-while SP getting fried.

ARCO years ago took 30 days to get to top FB - cannot believe HE & Spirit would take 50% longer with all their clangers, then add 5 days for drilling more due to having to drill more to build section for horizontal well. 60 days would therefore be to run completion, testing, suspension & rig move. Obviously if they get casing stuck and need re-drill like on WD - need to add another 10 days. This is not rocket science - very shallow & simple wells really - if you have PhD then may take longer.. mean-while the SP gets fried! Bring back ARCO drillers...
