I assumed everyone bought their stock, not given as a 'incentive'. When I said the 'stock lottery', meaning you managed to buy in low and as it turns out, in the case of RR. the stock price leaps. That is hitting the jackpot. Incentives are a way of keeping staff happy.

So, climb down a little, if you see my previous posts you will see I am critical of the governments always hitting the small guy, not pro.

The UK is NOT a communist country, nor is it a socialist country, I've been to both.

What the UK has got is 'socialist programs', such a government funded (via your tax collections) schools, healthcare,police, fire department and other such programs. But 'socialist' it is not. The closest to that we have in Europe is Portugal.

What the UK has and had and will have is a very corrupt government.

They are the only ones that can change that through legislation, what's the bet that will happen? Zero.

Majority of RR shares are held by institutional investors, a small percentage make up retail investors.

CGT impacts retail investors, unlike IAG that has a very large retail investor base.

Now, that should not really make a difference to the share price based solely on that, but, the markets being fickle and highly sensitive, who the hell knows.

Cev, my point is that prior to Brexit, you could have had a a full ride without the need to apply and pay for a temp residency in any country in the EU. It was your 'entitlement'. Now, like you say, you have to pay for it. There is no place that is eutopia, every country has some flaws or constraints, you just have to choose which ones make more sense to you and what you can live with.

Generational unemployed is a 'thing'. I believe it started in the 70's during the coalminers strikes and then snowballed once privatisation really kicked in.
