The fact that the US wants to 'de-escalate' the situation by sending another weapon to the region, this time a submarine is a complete farce at this point.

I cannot wait for Iran to get their hands on nukes, this will either blow us all away (they won't use it, goes against everything the believe in) or stop the constant bullying tactics by the US.

Correct. Unless your country of residence does impose CGT, then you would be subject to that.

But you may be liable for other tax, such as world wide wealth tax in your country, but for me that equates to 0.12%.

Why are you worried about CGT? Do what all the rich politicians do, have a tax domicile outside the UK. Rishi does it, Blair does it, Rees Mugg does it, heck, they probably all do it.

Luckily for me, I am not subject to UK's CGT, and never will pay tax in to the UK again. I prefer to live in a less corrupt country (less being the key word here...)
