The US is ALLOWED to have bases on Greenland, via a treaty signed decades ago.

At one time they had 20'000+ troops stationed in Greenland, they left, on their own accord, never told to leave.

They now have only one base operational with about 150 personal.

This was never about security, it was always about greed.
