I agree and to some extent a decent divi will attract more investors. Perhaps RR are looking at growth as a reward?

To me the divi is a nice bonus, unfortunately I also pay tax on that bonus, not on the capital gain...

I mean in the grand scheme of things makes no difference, even if you have 100k shares (divi of £5k vs £6k), today alone your share value went up £65k as of now to a peak of £110k (not many caught that to sell though)

Yep, I know, we go back a few years now.

As much as I despise dictators, I cannot just point the finger at Putin, we have warmongers in the West too, even more now than ever.

Peace as perhaps we have known it, is fast becoming a thing that we are about to lose. Sure, global tensions were always present, but the extremism from our side is growing and getting louder.

The irony is that Russia is part of 'Europe', it is our neighbour, yet our 'leaders' seem hell bent on burning the ship.

The vile elite have been around for hundreds of years, hidden away from the sun, we all know they existed, but now, they are becoming emboldened, perhaps orchestrated by themselves to see what we do. So far, 'we' the people have done not much in the way of pitch forks and ropes, so they become even more brave in their atrocities. Of course they have placed an idiot in charge and told him that he is in fact 'in charge'.

A hand grenade and chimp comes to mind.

People are people, they just want a decent, relatively safe life for them and their families, the world over. Whether in the hicksville of the Appalachian mountains or outer Mongolia. But that seems like a lot to ask for today.

The King and the pawn always gets put in the same box when the game is over, perhaps this needs to be told to our 'leaders'?

Anyway, I hope you get to feel safety and security once more, then perhaps we all will in Europe?

As for the axis of Evil that originates from Israel, I hope that guy melts when the fire reaches his feet...
