Depends where you are, no? Every country has a different rate of inflation. I have savings earning 5.15% in one country, yet I spend and live in a country that has 1.2% inflation. So for me, that works. But again, not trying to instigate, just laying out different options.

Is the £30 of P/E of 100x based on today's revenue? Not saying you are wrong, genuine question.

But have you seen what Palantir is? PE of 730! Now that is lunacy. That is something whereby Buffett will not even go near. Something very hooky about that company.

Not every one is living in the same time zone or timeline as you. You make way too many assumptions based on zero knowledge.

You try to use words and syntax way above your station and background, trying to impart that you are of a class or two above your real standing.

You know nothing about me, or anyone else on this forum. You make assumptions about other people based on YOUR circumstances and life/background. Don't, just don't!

As if that's a thing. The divide between the low end of the '1%' to the very top end is VAST! It is so vast 99% of the '1%' cannot see the other 1%, the vastness of the galaxy.

Let's not pretend that actually means anything, it's used to dilute the wealth pool, so the ordinary folk don't actually see the real number of the real 1% club, those are into the £billions. YOU are not that, not today my friend. So sit at the back of the bus.

There is enough space for everything... depending where you are geographically speaking.

Solar seems a waste of time in the UK and the climate, Spain, Portugal and Southern France have the best weather to capitalise on the sun. So much so that there are thousands of acres of solar fields in Spain and Portugal. Silver coast of Portugal benefits from wind energy and solar, central Spain has some of the largest solar fields I have ever seen (I drive everywhere.. being a pikey!)

Spain /Portugal are better suited to solar and wind as opposed to SMR. The UK has a duty to provide energy security to the people of the country, instead of importing it from France.

Answer to your last question, no he has not!

We are not on different pages. I too think we should protect the environment. The problem is that the West has always just dumped it's pollution in the East.

I would rather lose a few minor wildbirds (in the grand scheme of things) and become less dependant on oil, which is a far greater risk to health and environment around the world.

It's about risk/reward and what has the potential to create less damage. We will always create damage, unfortunately.

Nature will find a way to survive without us.

So, not to sound unkind, these muppets (Starmer and all) want to save birds but wipe out human lives around the world? Sounds about right.

I could careless where the source comes from, it does not bother me. The fact that Truss, Cummings etc, only chose to expose what was going on AFTER they were kicked out is the tell.

They could have done it before, but they thought they could capitalise on it themselves, when that failed they spoke up.

Also, as for Truss, a lettuce head has more credibility.

SF, not likely to happen, the US has way too much influence as to what happens there and also Orangatan made a deal (told them they have to buy) whereby Ukraine gets all of it's gas supply from the US in the form of LPG via Greek ports.

If they do go SMR, it will be US like GE or another.
