I look out of my window this morning, I count at least 10+ vapour trails. Last year same time (ish) nothing. So definitely people are taking to the skys, I do not live near an airport but certainly can tell that the skys are busier, just plain facts. Not sure if it BA, Lufthansa, Iberia, Air France or EZJ, but they are flying.

Same can be said of Tesla, yet look where it's SP is, and to think of it, most of the US stocks. The European/British stocks are always depressed.

The algo bots work the other way too to manipulate stocks. There is something else at play for THG to fall and keep falling, either a take over bid or an attempt to kill off the company due to competition as THG may have had a secret buy meeting and where shunned? So a bitter suitor wants to destroy it, another company that has $billions to play with?
This is just my gut feeling, I have no evidence or info to back any of that up, but I'm entitled to have the odd conspiracy theory now and again ;-)

ryanf, I agree that the stock is manipulated, big time. However, for it to go back over £3 is a monumental task, that is from someone that is negative massively that I may have to sell one of the kids!!
But I bought Centrica years ago at @£1.40, then I dropped to @.90, I lost, kept holding, then it dropped to below £0.5 and stayed there. Recently to started to go back up, but just over £0.50-.60. I cut my losses as that was never coming back. Bear in mind I kept hope that it would.... finally gave up and took the loss. All I'm saying is hope for the best but expect things to never turn around..

I believe MM is arrogant, he should have just kept his mouth shut and played the game, now the City is spanking him, more accurately the City is spanking t hose that hold stock and are in deep **** with the losses and cannot bail without taking huge losses. me for one.

I agree that there is manipulation going on, but at what point is there a rise in the SP? Even a slow gradual one, I'm heavily invested and at a loss for now, but long term holder. I do not care much for MM, but I like the idea that this could be a 'mini' Amazon of sorts.

NoTryToTry, totally agree with your sentiment, UK stock market and EU basically suck the big one. 'Cos if you think about it, who would want to invest in any EURO listed stocks when the market keeps pushing it downwards?
I was in the market for a short time and made good money, but decided I wanted to be more Eurocentric and place my money where I live... that did not work out well.

Hexam, Istabrraq, I get the lowering the risk factor, but at some point we must let our own immunity take over, it's how humans have survived for millions of years. I have had to take it to be able to reclaim my 'freedom' but the kids thing? I don't see the point. But anyway, I do not wish to hijack a stock forum with my personal views. I just think media is now using it as tool to sway people, one way or the other. Cheers

Istabrraq, sorry, but if two jabs is not doing the job how many will it take? 1 per month? As for 11-17 y/o, they are not flying to the US and the if they do their parents will have been jabbed to comply and that age group is not a requirement.... yet!

100% agree with why on earth do people keep getting tested? There is this compulsion to 'belong'. Stupid sheep keep falling for the social media cr*p so they can post about it.

@Hexham, swingman: Thank you, got it. If I continue to hold I could make a small 'profit' by lowering my average and if I sell then buy back in at the now low price that would effectively do the same thing, give or take a few £'s.

I think one major flaw in all this supposition of EZJ tanking is this: EZJ caters to all of Europe, not just the UK. All the people known personally to me and my family want to get away, travel. European flights are booked from Basel, Madrid, Faro, you name it, it's booked and ready. Do not discount people's emotions about flying and getting away is far greater than fears of delays and waiting in long lines. We did it after 9/11, after 7/11 and we will do it again. Not all companies see the benefit of Zoom calls, teleconferencing etc. Travel will return, because being human, we know that this sort of thing can happen again and so we make the most of it when we can. Choose what you want to believe, but as someone who studies human behaviour, people's need to 'get away' far out weighs any irrational fears governments want to throw at them. Just my 2 cents.
