I'm just going to say it, SO WHAT? 80k people die every year from smoking related illness in the UK. Only 8% of Africa is vaccinated, if wealthy countries stopped hoarding and boosting everyone and gave to the third world countries this pandemic would have been over by now, yet here we are.
I personally do not care about something that is endemic. If you are one of those that are terrorised by it, there must be a cave some where you could hide in until it's over.

EV's are great, just not for everyone and this time, there is room for ICE and EV's, I get our new EV early next year (hoping) but I would never take it on a journey longer than 400kms, in fact I would never use it to travel across countries as my ICE can do about 1000kms on one fill up and yes, I do drive upto 14 hours in one day.
EV tech should be used for HGVs as they produce the most pollution and have massive storage capacity in the chassis. Just my 2 cents.

It is a good investment IMHO, but it will be a rocky climb back up, keep it long term and I suspect the rewards will be great. DYOR.

I am a LTH, my stocks have taken a battering like most on here. but as much as I like seeing the SP go up in 2-3 % per day, that cannot be maintained. I would be quite happy seeing the Sp go up 1-2 % per week, every week. Sure it will take time to get back to old SP, but less volatility is good, IMO

What designates a 'fat' person, it would be really hard to enforce and where would the cut off line be? BMI is out of date by about 30 years so where do you judge, by US standards or by Thai standards?
Up until about 20 years ago I would be judged 'heavy' at 130kgs, yet below 10% bodyfat... So should it be weight or fat?

I mean, if you cannot fit reasonable in your seat and 'spill' over onto other people's space, then there is an argument for it, should they have a fixed seat at the check in gate like they do for hand luggage and make fat people sit in to see?

I'm not sure the market will 'pop' anytime soon, as optimistic as I can be. We are being governed by a bunch of moronic knee-jerkers that are still in diapers.

When they have run out of reasons to keep restrictions and bare in mind they keep coming up with new ones, contradicting the same one they used earlier , then we may have a 'pop'. But by then the world will no longer give a crap and we will be living with UV lamps in our homes due to not being allowed out. Uber eats and Deliveroo will be dropping food us at the front of the caves we will live in.
