RE: Basic Maths30 Dec 2021 10:31
While people are focusing on the 35 day lag time of any effect of omicron, now that we are nearly there, if this was the same as delta than death would have ticked up, if it was worse than delta, deaths would have already ticked up, as neither of these scenarios have so far occurred I suggest that this is no more than a bad cold. How long should we put our lives on hold waiting for deaths to 'kick in', 1 month, 2 maybe six months? Just in case?
Life is short enough, why would anyone be ok with putting on hold life when time is not being put on hold? There is no pause button, people around the world have lost almost two years and massive financial loss (relative, no matter the amount).
Time to put an end to the fear that we may die, bad news, we all will!
I would rather live until I die, than not live until I die.
I personally do not have that much time left on this mud ball, and the fact that these d*ck* are screwing with peoples lives is BS. If you care for your old, tell them, as i have done, clear the air if you need to and live, because to cower away 'in case' something may happen is beyond stupid (although, there are a lot of stupid about) I am not uncaring, I just choose what to care about and the old dying of covid, is not one of those.
