Hurtle, I saw that clip this morning and you could clearly see Savage looking very uncomfortable by the confrontation of a consultant voicing his and millions of others concerns regarding the vaccine. Not just the 'uneducated' it seems...

I think with the news from yesterday people will be forward booking this weekend, that should filter through the news next week and then travel stocks should move up.

AnacottSteel, I agree, it has got into my head and I should not look at the screen. Years ago I lost about £20k on BP (paper loss) that eventually came back into profit last year, but I did not have access to these sites and never looked at a SP index. My fault, I'm an over -achiever with a very thick streak of control running through me....

Mando_, not an attack, just realisation that all those 'tech' businesses are over valued.
The very second I break even I'm gone, unfortunately, that looks further and further away now, got close lase week.

Worst of all, this stock should be right up there, low footfalls in shops should mean bigger online sales and profits, yet Black Friday results did nothing, Christmas has been and gone, sales results known or unknown , and the SP still going down faster than Vito.

How is this free money? Goes up for a day or two then tanks repeatedly, down 18%+ in 6 days?

I know a lot of parents that do not want their kids jabbed and if that is a requirement for flying, then on personal level my kids are not visiting the outlaws in the US.. And I'm OK with that. As a family, we drive most everywhere anyway, I like it and we stop a lot en route. I see a lot doing the same. I feel sorry for those that are 'trapped' in the UK, as driving also poses a problem due to the French!

Hurtle, once this is declared 'endemic; then they cannot force vaccines, that will happen this year as long as poorer countries get vaccine equity. Mexico has 50 million doses just wasting away and they are at 80% vaccinated!

I agree about not being clear yet, but most travellers will have been vaccinated to be able to fly, also many hotels also require that. As for testing, that may be done with in the next couple of months. As many are booking for Spring breaks and summer that should not be an issue. Those that want to get away in Feb for a ski holiday may still face issues from Austria but Switzerland only requires vaccinations, so pick where you want to go...

POSTI, I sort of agree, the big ii know something, to say that insider dealing does not happen or information does not get past on is naive to say the least. They just have to be smart about it and not get too greedy or caught. But it happens more than you think.
