The sector is already reporting slower than usual bookings for the summer of 2022, due to governments uncertainty and vagueness.
People just do not have the appetite for the BS that surrounds travel right now.
Unless EU governments turn this around soon, the travel sector will lose a third summer due to flu. 90 year old Doris sitting in a care home is very unlikely to travel, on top of that, travel insurance for the elderly is nearly impossible to obtain.

The governments need downward pressure, the same pressure they inflicted on the travel and airline industry
