People are trapped due to airlines cancelling flights, not through their own fault for testing positive, so they are stuck where they are and cannot return home or for work, teachers testing positive will not be in schools, health care workers off in isolation so hospitals under greater strain.
All because you get tested for covid and have no symptoms, Yeah I can see that working our really well for the fear mongers. We may as well take the next year off and not go out in case an 80+ year old may catch the flu and die. God forbid they may live another 6 months.

Over 2000 flights cancelled due to staff having to isolate, 500+ in the US alone, wait until Jan 3rd when everyone needs to get home. The US airline industry are asking the CDC to reduce isolation time from 10 to 5 days... we shall see.

This isolation malarkey is a double-edged sword, as NHS staff are also isolating and so directly putting a strain on the NHS.
When in about another 2 weeks the whole world will have omicron, what difference would isolating make?
