WE MUST TAKE LEGAL ACTION against that crap rag!! Please BOD take legal advice immediately. It's worth spending a couple of grand on lawyers to nip this in the bud otherwise they will go at it again and again!!
I say, take the losses pre-end of tax year on Angus, and put them in here! My belief is that Alba has a lot of traction and a way to go into the new tax year.
decision-makers, planners, intelligent buyers, will listen to the experts, the people who count! As opposed to listening to the swampies - the people that can’t count!
the MMs only want immediate positives to tick upwards. the fact that machinery has to be brought from USA and time spent to sort problems doesnt allow them to see wood from trees. drift down for a while now sadly till machinery in place and working uurrgghh!
My own view is that the huge rise will come when concrete cash generating news arrives. That will be a combination of additional planning being in place AND production from the horizontal wells. I don’t think any marketmaker or major investor will want to be seeing the phantom rise of 2017. So this means that when we do get the rise it will stay up because of real good news. I’m in here for a large five figure sum and I am keeping the faith! Good luck to other long-term holders.
interesting! Peptide treatment for diabetes type 2 would be blockbusting. The question is “when?”. However...at these prices it’s worth keeping your hand in. GLA
It's been too cheap from our point of view as we're down. If the drug's a dud then it's not too cheap. HOWEVER someone seems to know otherwise...and if it's a go-er...then it's WAY too cheap. It has to be all or nothing here I think. Let's have a meat on the bone RNS soon please!!
14.45 offer on II right now. I still need 31 to break even but tbh, if we start to move fast there's something afoot so I might as well sit tight for a Pound!
RE: Looking forward to the week ahead!18 Feb 2019 09:41
not so much this week particularly...but this Spring is going to be big when production ramps up and (all being well - you see what I did there) we HH gets the planning moving forward later in March...
For those needing some perspective regarding this purchase...it's only 2ish per cent of our market cap so barely touches the sides as it were but the benefit to us is much greater. As far as Doriemus is concerned, the funds are nearly 50% of their current market cap (on the Australian market) and their share price has dropped 90% from highs in 2017 to regain a bit recently. So the cash is worth SO much more to them. Even if they rapidly sell their UKOG shares it won't hurt. Onwards and upwards!!!!
I agree with all of the above. There are so many irons in the fire that I believe blockbusting potential could come from any of them, and starting from such a low base below £10m valuation. Why shouldn't HH share be worth £50m? Why not Clogau worth £100m? Why not Limerick worth £50m? Why not TBS worth £50m? Why not Amitsoq worth £50m? Why not Inglefield and Melville Bay worth £50m? Why not Brockham share worth £50m? And so on !! This could be like ASOS going from 7p to £70 but a lot of ducks would have to be in a row. I quote that company because I was involved in it for years. But hey...even if ONE of those worked out...wouldn't you rather be in..than out?
If I won the lottery tonight I'd be buying 29.99% of this company without breaking a sweat. Happy with my holding right now. Onwards and upwards! GLA. Baz
Totally with you Crocqman. This year is different to the bonkers rise of 2017. That was a hot rise based on what could be. This period ahead (the next couple of years) in my view will see steady rises that result from real positive news regarding proven oil reserves AND actually getting the black stuff out of the ground. LTHs like me sit back. Don't sell out too quickly and see the long term prize ahead. GLA. Baz
me too for 2p but no way intend to sell. Looking ahead 2020-21 could be huge if you have the nerve to stick it out and not sell too early. I was involved with ASOS when it was 70p and saw it rise to £70 over a few years. That was a tough call along the way as to when LTHs sold out and here I think the potential is the same. If the reserves in all locations are proven in the next couple of years, why shouldn't the share price climb to 50p or wherever? Nobody knows right now!!
Exactly Nookie...you could have have 50, 100, 1000 or any % if you're talking about going up.... but a maximum of 100% for going down. Just saying...now we're talking...it would be LOVELY to have 1000% up...later next year maybe?
