Thanks for the update Yogi. It does suggest that we have gained a bit more information doesn't it.

I notice that the Northern Ireland Department of the Economy (the chaps who provide licenses) have amended KDR's "Company Brief" on their records, which is also interesting.

From what i can see, the last time the NI DoE used this was when issuing out the prospecting licenses... Is it too much to presume that they might be issuing a further license/s for KDR (with the updated company brief)? Perhaps we have asked to have a a bit more of a poke around near Dromore, hopefully with a drill. ..

"Funds raised will be used to carry out a follow-up exploration programme for Nickel-Copper-Platinum Group Elements on Karelian’s licences.

Funds will also be used by the Company to continue its diamond exploration and development programme in Finland, where, at Kuhmo, it has already discovered a green diamond in till, and appears close to discovering its source and, at Lahtojoki, is awaiting final permission to proceed with the development of a diamond deposit. In addition, funds will be used to provide additional working capital for the Company".

From the above - perhaps they have a few quid left over to drop a drill into Kuhmo this winter?

Richard also suggested in the summer that KDR would collect further samples from Lahtojoki to determine the % of coloured diamonds. I would assume that we also have a few quid for that, from the above RNS.

Interesting... With the National Land Survey having already considered the matter and the majority of items agreed, you would have thought the remaining (minority of) items wouldn't take that long... Logical or just wishful thinking?!

Totally agree Yogi, when the permit comes in, we need to see action. Not just, we've got the permit - end.

I know Brendan has been part of the non-exec team for many years, but i do not know him, to know if he wouldn't or couldn't be anyone's first choice for the role, but you could be entirely correct of course. Strange if it is a temporary appointment, you would have thought a succession plan was in place for quite some time. But then maybe that succession plan cannot happen right now for whatever reason? More to come out at the AGM perhaps.

New Chairman confirmed. As a shareholder, I wish Brendan every success! No doubt the plan remains largely the same, but it will be very interesting to see whether there are any noticeable changes with Brendan in charge. Will there be any more transparency to the market? More notifiable milestones? A noticeable change of pace? Anything to to stop the share price sliding further?! We'll see...

Steve - Interested to see why you think Brendan may be an interim appointment, purely because of the change of office? Does this fuel further speculation of a merger with CGNR or put more distance between that view, with Brendan now installed?

The update was pretty generic in general, but at least the analyst has got the calculator out to see what a 3% pink diamond content at Lahtojoki would do to the NPV, which is a very healthy increase of circa $30M. Considering coloured diamonds supposedly make up around 7% of Lahtojoki (subject to further testing), it looks as if the blues etc will only increase the NPV above $69M. Plus the new kimberlite to the south etc etc.... no specific news/programme around testing this now the exploration permits have been issued, which is a shame...

Further work is ongoing at Kuhmo, "the results of which will be released at the appropriate time". Appropriate, as in, when we've drilled this winter and received results back? I'm probably overthinking it.

No news from Northern Ireland, which is also a shame. Dr Hulbert's targets were going to be followed up immediately... Whether the NI Department for the Economy got involved, who knows, but some clarity on what we're doing and when, would be useful. Then there are all the other sites seemingly on the back burner.

Like us, Brendan could do with some news to ignite the SP. How long until that permit comes through?

Just kidding Steve. I appreciate you’ve been around this a long time, probably lost some cash. It happens. If you’re not now interested in KDR any more I’m not sure why you bother coming back, perhaps you could give us a headspace update?

Allan - I think there is more rainbow chasing these days and patience is rare across the board. You're right in what you say though because this company has unbelievable potential.

Depending on how the KDR team take this forward, and by the end of the winter, there is a genuine potential to have:

- Drilled/collected further data from Lahtojoki to further assess the % of coloured diamonds (pinks & blues), with an updated economic assessment.

- Develop a mining plan at Lahtojoki with the contractors/developers (perhaps JV discussions?)

- Further explore the source of the 90,000cpt diamond boulders at Lahtojoki South & Lahtojoki South 2.

- Drill A5 to locate the exact source of a potential green diamond deposit (now they have narrowed it down to a very small area).

- Further explore Northern Ireland. Whether we are at the drill stage is yet to be seen, but any confirmation of a significant Nickel/Copper/PGM deposit that the world leading expert says is obvious, will get KDR some serious attention.

At the moment the KDR (quite rightly) have one eye on other matters, but I'm sure that once they re-group, they will be moving KDR in the right direction on all fronts. The above list are just some of the drivers that could put a rocket under the share price, probably more so than what was a legal certainty (as good/necessary as that is for KDR).

This could be an excellent winter for KDR.

If they had so many to sell, it's strange that they will still take 150k with no buyer lined up.

The existing PEA does not include coloured diamonds. Nor does it include any potential value in the exploration areas at Lahtojoki South and Lahtojoki South 2. We know there is a kimberlite source there that does not originate from the same source of the future Lahtojoki diamond mine.

Exploration permits at the above two exploration areas granted last week, would appear to tie up nicely with us getting some boots on the ground at the main mine site. Yes there are some other boxes to tick, H&S, EIA etc, but It will be very interesting to see how this now develops with an enforced change to the management structure.

I posted this a few weeks ago after the Prof’s stockbox interview. Now we have full legal force at Lahtojoki, it’s probably worth revisiting…

- "Once we have our mine boundaries" (which we now have) " we can begin to sit down with the technical people and the developers" Does this refer to a potential contractor, or does this refer to a potential JV partner already waiting in the wings?

- "we'll probably do some further drill holes or collection of diamonds ourselves". It seems very logical to further understand the % of coloured diamonds before progressing any discussions with 3rd parties (if that's how this proceeds). As he mentions, the financials are now greatly improved for coloured diamonds.

- The professor previously mentioned that pinks can be worth up to 20x colourless diamonds, he now mentions up to 60x.

The PEA is only going one way, and quite dramatically in my view. It's worth restating that the current PEA does not include any coloured diamonds. Good times ahead.

Exploration permit finally received, fantastic news. Hopefully this ties up with the full land possession at Lahtojoki and they can progress both at the same time.

I'm happy upsetting the swamp monster's hibernation plans to drill and prove up a potentially lucrative green diamond deposit in Kuhmo, even if he does have a temporarily detrimental effect on the SP.

Kuhmo as a whole COULD end up with diamond deposits in:

- Seitapera (largest diamondiferous pipe in Finland)

- Riihivaara

- A5(Kumpula/Matala?)

with multiple anomalies in each area, hence why the Professor insists on using the phrase "emerging diamond province".

- KDR have a Diamond Mining Permit in Lahtojoki, albeit awaiting full land possession (perhaps in October) to mine pink & blue diamonds. Further areas around this site reserved which include boulders containing 90,000cpt of diamonds.

- Diamond reservations in Salla and Liperi, based on geophys and old data (Rio's?)

- Jappila has also been reserved on the basis of various base metals.

- Northern Ireland - A very large anomaly near Dromore that the world-leading expert thinks will lead to a Ni-Cu-PGE discovery having looked at the existing and recent data recorded on site. He thinks it's obvious...

- I've probably forgotten somewhere off the above list...

We are awaiting results from A5 which will be used to plan the drilling programme this winter in Kuhmo, and we are waiting confirmation on the follow up testing in Northern Ireland.

I know getting full land possession at Lahtojoki is important to us (and the SP) but KDR is far more than Lahtojoki.
