There are many subtle positives in this update with respect to our diamond exploration programme, but first, the one negative. It appears the conclusion of compensation amounts at the National Land Survey will take longer than hoped, thus putting the Lahtojoki license back to Q2. Annoying, but it will come!

I'm not going to restate everything in the RNS, but it just shows how much we have in play, in Finland. Areas locked down, deposits outlined, tested in many cases. Put on hold. Province forming...

With the diamond market as it is, a very wise strategic pivot to coloured diamonds a few years ago may start to pay off this year. Obviously Lahtojoki, but more interestingly Kuhmo. More (or the same?) strategic partners required to progress our diamond deposits.

2025 is looking very exciting indeed, hopefully starting with some further ODM results and a drill lined up to test for green diamonds... A Tukes extension to Kuhmo 1 should be along soon.

A very good update on Friday and as Hoops mentioned, relatively detailed by KDR standards (Hopefully this continues going forward).

Northern Ireland sounds very promising indeed. It seems Larry Hulbert has given KDR a bit of impetus, and we are now actively on the prowl for a strategic partner to take up the reins, plow in some money, and prove up what Larry thinks is there. It is obviously going to take a greater cash injection than KDR could raise, and hopefully carried out far more swiftly too, so I am all for it. Let's see who's interested and what upside that can provide KDR shareholders. Some excellent groundwork has been put in by KDR and has hopefully gone a long way.

What have we got?

- An enormous area locked down where several targets have been identified for follow up work.

- A pending mineral prospecting license for additional land to the north east KDR4, consultation ongoing to 4th April.

- Highly anomalous results from stream sediment sampling, coupled with positive NI Tellus data.

- An abundance of indicator minerals including some chromite grains with high zinc oxide values, which can be an indicator of sulphide rich Nickel-Copper Group Elements deposits.

- An independent report by world renowned expert in NI/Cu/PGM exploration, Larry Hulbert, noting marked resemblances to the Baraga Basin in Michigan where significant deposits exist at the Eagle and Eagle East mines.

- Larry also stated "Recognition of similar geological and metallogenic environments, regardless of geological age, like that between the Proterozoic Baraga Basin Eagle mining camp setting and the KDR property is what will lead to new Ni-Cu-PGE discoveries. What was once not obvious is now obvious!"

Encouragingly, the latest RNS points to Larry's ongoing work with KDR which will hopefully continue with any discussions with potential 3rd parties interested in taking this forwards. I think this will interest quite a few.

Yogi - Arctic Star RNS 27th July 2020.

"Due to the downturn of activity in Finland, and due to other pressing interests, Roy Spencer is resigning as director of the company effective immediately. Roy has informed us that once exploration recommences in Finland he will be available to manage and guide the program on a consulting basis. Arctic looks forward to this interaction in the future".

I wonder whether Roy's work for KDR contributed towards those other pressing interests, and his resignation from Arctic Star?

Vamps, I also assume it was a sell as just before my trades I could sell just under 1M, but a bit in the day, only 350kish.

I picked up an extra 200k of yesterday's total under 1.3, but I wouldn't call that a signal! (you're welcome seller...) I'm more hopeful that things are beginning to turn here after a pretty drab few months, post-placing.

Friday's news was also part of that decision. We now know where the green diamonds are kept, we just need to go and dig some up...

Just kidding Carters, you make some valid points. The Prof mentioned that a JV is likely on Lahtojoki, however if I was a JV company, I would want to see a permit first wouldn't you? (If this is how we want to proceed).

In my opinion, positive drilling results from the green diamond diatremes would also send this significantly upwards.

Finland is a bit cold and flat for me, but never say never!

Re: PR/marketing, unless you're sat in the Board meetings then you cannot second guess the strategy, but I've no doubt there is good one in place (results dependent of course).

I have reread Friday's RNS and I think LTHs will be getting pretty excited right now, and so should new investors.

Since the green diamond was found in till, the search for the source of this diamond has seemed to drag on for an age... But what KDR have done (and hats off the the Professor), they have systematically traced it through to the source, culminating in the confirmation of two pipes following UAV and EM surveys.

Previous sampling which showed garnets associated with diamond bearing kimberlites pointed us in the right direction, and now we know exactly where to stick the drill. As Hoops says, we don't need to start going off at all angles, we've got a picture of exactly where the carrots (or carats) are.

The only questions now seems to be, what's in there (greens only? unlikely), what quantity, and what quality.

So, to the drill...

We are currently awaiting an executive order to be signed, which will extend our prospecting license over Kuhmo 1. Our application went in 12.12.24, and the public consultation ended 20.01.25. All being well (and there is no reason to suspect otherwise) we should be notified shortly that we can go ahead with our plans to drill.

We are also awaiting further sampling results from ODM, however I would open it up to the floor as to whether these samples are up-ice from recently announced diatremes, or from a different location in the license area? If relating these drill targets, then prior interpretation would appear likely. These are due back early 2025, so very soon.

Either way, with us needing to drill in the winter window, it would seem likely that we need a rig on there by March or miss the boat until Nov/Dec. Eyes down for a Kuhmo 1 prospecting extension, and you never know, a Lahtojoki permit?!

Morning 10 bags, no conspiracy here, I’ve been skiing all weekend (and now absolutely shattered!) A year or two back we discussed how the magnetic signature of a target was potentially very important. The Arctic Star CEO presentation (2022?) went on to note that most of the diamondiferous targets at Diavik were “mag-lows”, ie had a weak magnetic signature, so yes, I was very interested in Fridays RNS. Flying back later so I’ll have to leave you all to it.

KDRA1 already included in the stats, so an additional 250sqkm I presume.

Looks like the updated company brief last year by the NI DfE was a precursor to KDR's new applications. Two new Mineral Prospecting Licenses applied for in northern Ireland, KDRA1 & KDRA4, amounting to a further 500 sq/km.

Interestingly, we're also awaiting results from 22 samples which are currently at ODM, due in early 2025.

It appears to just be an extension. Hopefully some AGM commentary on funds next week.

Perhaps they're ready to reveal the Lahtojoki permit in all its glory? Results of the winter drilling in Kuhmo? A detailed exploration campaign (funded last summer) for all these new permits? NI DfE also updating our company details for a new license also? That would be some AGM...

WHEN the permit arrives, serious investors will have something tangible to work with. There will be a runway to serious profits, a revised NPV of $69M from Lahtojoki which I think is likely to be on the low side. And that’s before you start bringing up the emerging diamond province in Kuhmo.

We’ve got downer Vamps this morning! It’s hard not to be disappointed when looking at the SP, I completely agree. But to say there is nothing to attract investors is a stretch (considering you’re invested).

The other way of looking at this, is that they are on the cusp of receiving a permit which will allow them to build a diamond mine Finland. They are drilling for a potential green motherlode in Kuhmo this winter, and a world expect thinks we’ve discovered a Copper/Nickel deposit/s.

We just need the newly reformed BoD to step up and grab this by the proverbials (along with the Finnish government). It’s frustrating, but there is everything to play for in the next few months.
