Adam Davidson, CEO of Trident Royalties, discusses offtake milestones and catalysts to boost FY24. Watch the video here.
It was even more scary at the start of this month when the share price was just under 200p!
Whilst I am not a scientist Prof Deeks sounds like those “set in their ways” Generals who fought wars using strategies that worked in previous wars.
New challenges need new solutions and an open mind.
What about the “t” !
VC , my recollection is that Affimers are also very robust and have a longer shelf life. I’m not a technical expert.
Wallbrooke. You advised Avacta holders that you are invested in both Avacta and ODX. Various posts you have made indicate you have no depth of knowledge re the Avacta business.
You just seem very aggressive and rude- it just isn’t necessary. What will be will be and chat forums won’t alter that.
However I wish you and all ODX holders the best of luck with your investment. Live long and prosper.
Wallbrooke. I don’t think you understand Avacta.
This is not to knock ODX as I feel sure you will do well here.
I agree , Mortgagefreeman is an utter disgrace. His previous offensive posts about Al have included the following:-
Del Boy of Biotech
Clearly the CEO is out of his depth
Lack of understanding of own business
“Sir” Al seems a bit hollow and a bit of a joke now
Saw the writing on the wall for the saliva test and decided to sell ahead of it. There is no house purchase.
Mortgagefreeman has told us more than once he has emailed the company to offer his advice. I wonder if he has had the courtesy to email Sir Al and apologise for his highly offensive,Insulting and libellous remarks.
Of course MF is happy now the share price is high and mocks Sir Al for selling too low.
MF is clearly a very sad individual, unable to take responsibility for his own decisions.
Lateral Flow?
I hate to see this takeover talk.We are privileged to be here, at the start of what I believe will be a fantastic journey.
Why on earth are people desperate to make a quick buck? They don’t realise what we have here.
Remember Ronald Wayne , the third co-founder of Apple- he sold out his 10% share in the company for 800 dollars! Is that what people here want to do?
I've got a bottle of Hirondelle, left over from the 70's which I'll happily bring along.
The deal today shows the increasing awareness and acceptance of Affimers. We are getting involved with top companies. The royalty model reminds me very much of ARM holdings, who designed superior microchips and licenced them out. Each year their designs were tweaked and improved, again top companies paid to use their specialised product.
Affimers are disruptive technology, they are patented. Each new deal will add to the "snowball effect" and Avacta will become the "go-to" company in a huge marketplace. All in my humble opinion, of course.
How about Sir Al, sporting a Kipper tie and Bri Nylon shirt, as he introduces the ultimate LFT on the 6 o'clock News. He reaches out and touches our new product accompanied by a loud crack and a bright flash of static.
What hypocrisy - to boast about the profits you have supposedly made and yet to have such resentment of a CEO selling some shares to assist his house purchase.
QD. Not the house purchase again! You say AS had the acumen to sell at £1.80 . I suspect he sold reluctantly. When AVCT flies past £1.80 will you be saying he showed poor judgement by selling too soon?
Perhaps better for you to sell then?
PDMSPiper. You seem to know lots more about AVCT than our CEO and all of his scientists put together!!! Perhaps one thing you don't know is how to spell "affimer".
No Pole! Not a FACT. Have a look at Bpc RNS page - they come at various times during the day.
Urban - I couldn't agree more with your views.
We have some brilliant academics in this country but so often we either don't develop the idea or it is bought up by a non-UK outfit. Lost forever! If, as we all hope, Avacta comes good big time then lets keep it in the UK. Lets create the jobs and opportunities and keep the profits here.
France and Germany were ultra-quick to cast doubt on the effectiveness of the AZ vaccine in the over 60/65 age groups. At the same time the EU were demanding AZ send them the vaccine ASAP.
What will be the attitude of the EU to a high quality UK Sovereign Lateral Flow Test? If our Government have supported and given State Aid to the production of the test then, as a matter of principle, will the EU feel they shouldn't buy it!
I am not particularly political but I do feel the EU can't resist any opportunity to hit back at us for daring to leave their club.
Cos i does - where d'ya think all't best ideas come from!
