Agreed Citizen. For a casual observer the RNS did read like more expense. For me, I like the fact that the decks have now been cleared for take off. A downside for me is that it probably makes us ripe for a take over at some point and certainly before I would wish.

I see on the LLOY bb there is equal distain for the current Government. Having been a member of the Labour Party during the Falklands War in 1982 I know full well the distain that Militant Tendency/Momentum/Progressive supporters have for our heritage and that includes the F.I. They are happier with their Palestinian flags than supporting the U.K. My hope is that now Starmer has shown his true colours, the F.I executive will do everything possible to fast track oil production to ensure their own security.

At least RKH is getting plenty of publicity. Even I went out and bought the Telegraph today. With a Labour MP quitting the party whip, Starmer will soon need to realise nutty policies get you nowhere. Ask Boris.

Has Navitas said there will be delays ?. Personally I do expect them given whats happened at Shendonah but all baked into the price imho.

Obviously I have concerns with the Labour Government. But the Falklands are a self governing territory and have not signed up to the Paris Climate Agreement. In my mind it will just make financing more expensive and complex. It would have been easier if the UK Government had provided a backstop but that ship has sailed.

NtM - is the issue no one expects drilling this year or people closer to the action are seeing poor results ?. GLR has been drilling but no news. Good news has to be reported and Colin has never been shy to get good news out. I think he has completely forgotten about AFP and the drilling that was supposed to be happening on their licenses. I assume nothing worth reporting. I have given up even looking at ARCM, just another depressing story. And TYM/Kobold seem to have decided to keep drilling to the other side of the planet in the hope of finding something. At a time when copper is on a roll it is doubly worse seeing the constant drop in shareprices.

Agreed, A JLP/Luansobe tie up always seemed the most likely outcome. More so given that we know they were testing the Luansobe ore at JLP. Years ago JLP turned into a processor and Colin used his other companies to acquire mining concessions. JLP has since gone back into the mining game but I feel a combination is still the most likely option.
