The numbers contained in the NSAI report look great from 2032. A long wait but whats another 10 years for long term holders. 50p a year dividend, £ plus on Isobel. Sell out at 40p a share, having a laugh.
If its a choice of having 35% of "potential" phase 1 or 20% of the northern basin actually being developed - ideally at pace - I will choose the latter. Long gone are my dreams of £20 a share. Was it Ferrari who said £30 a share !. Those were the days.
For me it is a risk to be considered along with all the other risks. When I first invested in RKH the OG hadn't even set sail and finding oil was a long shot. Now I feel we have a chance of drilling the Marlon sump, potentially a bigger deposit than Sealion - according to Marlon Monkey. A week ago I thought that was going to be years away. The 65/35% partnership for a new basin too risky for further expansion. That changed on Monday. Navitas are in growth mode. And now a new player ............................ ?
I have no idea about the court cases. But the Conservatives were insistent that the Chinese could manage our 5G rollout. Trump said no, it was a security risk. We said we can handle it. Who won that argument ?. Allowing the Chinese to control our "energy security" with their solar panels and wind turbines which can be controlled from Beijing will be an interesting discussion.
Some big trades today and looking good. Guess everyone pinning their hopes on the Falkland Islands. Time for the muppets to acknowledge they are clueless, Lammy, mad Ed for starters.
My hope is that it won't be bought out until in full production. But I do wonder if some of the North Sea producers are taking a look. Further investment in the NS is pointless due to high taxes and Government objection. Expansion into the F.I must be a consideration ?.
Would another Israeli company be allowed to buy out RKH ?. I think a UK/US comapany more likely. Trump wants to increase US oil production by 3 miilion b/d. The Saudis are talking about flooding the market - lower oil prices is what Trump wants - so would Navitas/lenders be happy carrying the leg iron named RKH ?.
I am the boring guy sitting in the middle of the bus. I like the destination on the front of the bus. Just get fed up with the never ending detours and getting lost. "Are we there yet ...." springs to mind.
