It's the spread and volume to0 - v. low volume today (10% or so of yesterday when I last checked), and the spread was 6% difference this morning!!! If more people come on in this afternoon we could have a small blue finish.

It's about the run to gold in times of uncertainty and how these companies are also benefiting from higher margins due to low fuel costs. I think everyone hear already knows about the flow of news planned thanks. But looking at only one side of the story doesn't make for good analytical decisions I'm afraid. Personally I would plan to take some out today if I hit a target price and leave my core remaining - whilst we might risk losing a gain on Monday morning, there are a lot of other opportunities at the moment in much bigger stocks like banks etc (Legal and general over last week for example - although I missed that alas). What if you can't buy a mask? People in Europe can't, and the govt is handing out $1000 euro fines in some areas. And I'm not convinced about the Facebook movements of people making masks 1) They probably aren't any good, 2) They potentially spread the infection more if the person making them is infected and not displaying symptons (I think this has actually happened as masks are ideally placed next to mouth and nose). I think all 'proper' masks that are brought from medical providers should eb passed to NHS, and when you and me are out and about we simply stay 3 metre away. That's possible in most cases in normal life if you are half cautious.

So what do you think we can see on MOnday BigBear? It would be nice if the RNS mentions the price of oil means their margins are looking that much better due to low fuel costs...I suppose any risk on Monday and over the weekend has to be COVID19 related - so could parts of the operation be suspended for 3 months? That's my bigger worry.

We could have Dominic Raaaaab and Mike Pence running the western world soon. That would move the price of gold into orbit!

In normal times wouldn't hesitate to leave in over the weekend. But the whole market could get hammered if bad news comes out. So if I can do a quick day trade and add to my portfolio here and there for free, then that's quite good (in my opinion). BUT I have been in shares that have been dead certs before (XCITE Energy for one - saw a massive paper increase and that got wiped out), so guarding my capital sum with a 5% increase in one day is not to be snuffed at. Good luck all.

I just added 11,000 shares to my holding by buyign in this morning and then selling the cash amount. Think this will do very well but I'm a bit nervou about leaving a lot of money in over even a few days at the mo.

It happens - part of my anatomy doubles in size most mornings!

No. Not in this one. But I did gain 4% yesterday on FTSE 250 - and not going back in over the weekend on that. Good luck all anyhow!

30th? Shame it won't be tomorrow - staying in over the weekend in any share at the mo is risky. By Monday we'll see a load of negative news from USA I think.
