Well, it would appear that our Chairman, Mr Richardson, has form for the sort of thing he’s now going through at COPL - Lekoil, Fensiko, Metallon, Haldron, Tennyson all names that keep popping up, plus his ‘opaque’ money channels in The Cayman Islands. In his defence he called out the death spiral finance of Anavio signed upto by Gaffney and later the arrival of Richardson.

What I find very strange is why TW is not prepared to do a journalist deep dive investigation into the tawdry dealings of Richardson and Anavio? Others have already begun this and we know the results, yet TW who normally cannot wait to be ‘The Sheriff’ is taking the stance of taunting retail shareholders and the group fighting back.

Maybe the investigation ongoing will unearth why? His reluctance to now hunt down this story and preference to just say ‘short it’ raises eyebrows. Is there a relationship he is trying to protect?

When Richardson announces next week the latest Anavio deal his job will finally be done. I would not be surprised that in the coming months both he and Gaffney resign and walk away.

It’ll take a while to unpick where the money has gone and how they have both been rewarded off book (after they both had to backtrack on the Sept bond award they gave theirselves until it was exposed as fraud) but that will happen.

Another terrible mistake now on record undervaluing the company significantly to help Anavio. Richardson and Gaffney are both heavily intertwined with Anavio. Take a little look at their lifestyles and how they travel and ask yourself who funded those expenses and who approved those expenses?

They have put on record a new valuation for Copl but have not stated which independent company did this valuation nor what is behind that valuation. Don’t forget P2 reserves are on record and P2 reserves have a public valuation against the whole industry. The new Richardson / Gaffney / Anavio valuation does not stack up and only benefits Anavios hostile rewrite of share registry.

For those ‘realist’ posters on here that like to point out the truth - try doing an honest evaluation of company valuation. Consider the reserves, land, gas, machinery, licenses and even put a massively pessimistic valuation on the oil found but not booked?
