Sorry to be a dimwit but can anyone tell me why giving the boss half a million quids worth of shares should make the price rise?

Further to my request about the above information for which I was given short shrift by the BB ramping Guru.
I have not been able to get anyone in the IOM or the Bahamas offices to pick up the phone over the last two days.
So on our web site under shareholder information I contacted Link Asset Services in the IOM @ 10p/min. They did not know there had been a merger with BPC and CERP. After some hesitation and throat clearing I decided that I was not going to get an answer to this source, ah well.

Davie, I am not a financial wheeler dealer so I cannot really comment on the ups and downs of SP's with any certainty. I am however pretty well clued in on the sharp end on drilling and my posts have always been to comment the operations with some solid authority. How many invested here that read this BB would have expected to be looking at the SP today and be happy. He asked me to DMOR when I asked when the money from CERP(now our)operations would hit our bank account so I tried to get hold of my old mate BP at BPC, so far no contact. I will inform the BB if I find out.

Oh I have been reading them alright, hit my head on the keyboard a couple of times. Still does not make sense to me and you still fill your posts with maybe's and probable's. As you seem to be very close to the hub of this little tiddler on the scale of things oilwise, as an international business man I am a bit surprised to are invested here in this risky punt unless your holding is just play around money. What would you say A. Sugar and R. Branson have to say on the matter.

I see your point Lancy and reading yesterday's offering from Rigzone you may be able to understand why. BPC share price however seems to be in the doldrums because of specific actions on behalf of a couple of large share holders. Having said this, BPC have a couple of positives going for us and that is money now coming in on a regular basis whenever that enters the coffers and we are looking at drilling a well which if successful will be a gamechanger for the Bahamas. So right up until spud there has to be a lift in the SP in anticipation. All this in a few months. Stena are not on the sh*t list of offshore drillers in a bind.

Star, on the chance of being told to DMOR I ask you, why would any holder of large amounts of shares be dumping like fury if the share is about to fly to the moon. Please if you will, answer using proven tactical reasons rather than prophesies and assumptions.

Star, the fact that they are dumping and nobody seems keen to join us except the nodding donkey outfit which had debts up to its ears hence the dumping, concerns me and possibly others. When does the money from production hit the BPC coffers?

There were a number of posters calculating how many shares we would have issued after that project of vanity (the merger) went through. Who so far is the nearest and who the furthest away.

JITK, I am more than a little surprised at your last post. BPC could have 4 trillion shares in issue at some fraction of a penny but that does nothing to allay the concerns of share holders that bought in at ay 4p even though the Market cap may be £100m
