LLL, It is not unusual for forward thinking businesses to want to diversify. In Victorian times Shell did exactly that, they imported shells from Japan then started sending Kerosene back to Japan.
If the likes of Debanams, John Lewis and other had cottoned on when Asos floated at around 50p per share to become £50 per share then maybe they would not be in the bind they are no.
While the price of electric cars remains an high as if the bodies were made of gold and can maybe get you to the coast and back then I will not be investing in one. But as the Jones's keep living next door then they will be bought. We in this country pay much higher for the same models in other EEC countries because the car industry know we will pay, hence the dated registration plates.
