Let's hope so, for a 2.1p rise tomorrow we only need 27.5% not today's 37.5%, the day after for 2.1p only 20% and I'm in that elusive club of profit. Keep the 2p a day up and we'll easily smash the £1 by Christmas, sorry drunk on the euphoria of a good rise.
Anyway, not selling at BE, might sell some to someone at 20p, at 30p I'll through in a kiss, although I am quite stubbly, 40p I shave and at 50p you'll have to beat me off with a stick!

Can anyone answer this please. I suspect most are like me in that I wont have the funds to buy the extra 19 shares, 38 in my case as I splashed out. If I sell some of my rights to fund the purchase of the remainder is it possible the funds from the sale would come through in time for my purchase?

Evening all, I haven't posted here before even though this is by far my longest hold and all time favourite. Firstly thanks to all you regular posters for regular updates and information passed, it's very much appreciated.

I managed to nip in passed my local store today so thought I'd share my opinion as others have done for theirs. The store recently moved from a town centre location to a small 'in town' retail park (exDebenhams), within walking distance but improved parking. Hard to say if the store is larger as the older one was clumpy, now more open plan and a welcoming but food hall has doubled in size, only other food stores are Aldi and Asda so no comparison. Overall theres a fresh modern style that should take a while to age. Product range, particularly clothing has had a real shift in gear from time gone by to equal that of Debenhams. Staff, as ever friendly and helpful but I got a real sense of pride and ownership, reminded me of the Mark's I knew decades ago when I worked there, not colleagues but family and friends, you can't put a value on that. In terms of customers, not the best shopping day, dry but cold, yet not only in store but outside was busy, so much for our current economic conditions, plenty of bags going down the street and we had more than our fair share. There are a few empty shops but appears to be working in our favour. A good cafe and more importantly great toilets, slightly odd to comment on but actually a great pull in and well placed to ensure a good walk through store to entice purchases, which they will, already got the Tshirt. If this store is representative of the future than I'm more than reassured about my investment here.

Oh, btw, my hold opinion here is that I never expected to see £1.50 again but unfortunately my ammo is tied up elsewhere but hoping to release next month, before our end of year, so if you could all do me a favour and hold off buying at this bargain price then I promise to more than double up next month.

LTH, 950m was from the fag packet, don't blame it. 300m is need so say after all hurdles are jumped and initial period of lending is complete then a Mcap of 50m is not only realistic but would massively undervalue. But stick with 50m and we 'only' need 300m, ignoring discounts etc then that's only a 6-1 dilution. If they could, won't, issue 19-1 at a Mcap 50m, SP 10p'ish that would give £1b.
Alternatively, if the aim is for £300m at 19-1 that leaves a 'percieved' current value of £15m, on very very crude figures but less than it's worth now and ignoring all other factors. So back to the original questio s / time passing, the Mcap in 6-9mths could be between £15&300m+.

I'm sure it's in an RNS that the new business was expecting to run at a profit £300m, memory is bad so might be turnover! Either way you can use various multiples to come up with a guess. The key for me has always been what we know after the initial 6mths lending, yes restricted but I doubt applications will be so that should give a steer to future business value and follow on Mcap. Future business value, profitability is critical to determining what could be raised in the RI, and ensure people take part.
Fag packet out...say £300m profit x 5 (got to use some number and I'm just delaying going out to mow the lawn), gives an Mcap of £1b, at 19-1 Mcap in that period would be £50m,ish, problem with that we're not going to raise £950m!
The real question is the 19-1, is it intend that is fixed or was it an example that at the Mcap at the time that's what would be required to raise the required funds, if the Mcap changes will the 19-1?
Will the 19-1 be passed by shareholders? Will the judge pick up that all parties were meant to feel the pain equally so shareholders should only lose 51% not 95%?

My fag packet calculations have been based on him selling 5% of any days Vol, check for yourself, based on 60m traded since last TR1 and he could of off loaded 3m leaving 600k shares, roughly 4m Ave daily vol this month so the remaining could be gone in 3 days.
We needed 12m and we got 13m, thanks to Taunton ;-)

Spend all day driving 400m+ home from Inverness and miss the fun, ok I did get to sing I will walk 500miles alot! Never been unhappy that it's a double back holiday, someone please tell me we atleast get a morning session tomo.

Hopefully a two simple questions to which I should know the answer, but don't. Halifax etc have a holding here, is that as an investment like us? If my shares are in a Halifax account do they count towards Halifaxs declared holding or in addition?

I've not managed to read many posts in last week or even now sorry if this has been discussed. I picked up on Sangs highlighting Bod have increased pay 150%, to be fair their past and revised pay still shows a committed team, they're going to have to stay a long time to get the money they've invested back just on pay! Equally it's still way below comparative companies, roles etc.

The question is why increase by such a large % now, back dated increases? To attract new people? They've paid to date to invest in company, as the less positive are trying to point out we may need money, if that's the case this move doesnt make sense. Any views?
