Very quiet here in Vol and posts, looks like even one have taken there positions and not budging, will there be a rally before court?
Hurdle 1, Claimants vote passed.
Hurdle 2, Court, cant see any reason it wont be a positive outcome, though regardless of which side of the fence you sit we'll all be twitching! I'm expecting both options to be approved so that should subsequent hurdles fail the backstop is in place.
Hurdle 3, FCA approval to relend (initial), two parts as I see it, 1, have we got an acceptable application process - after this amount of time that has to be in place, conversations cant simply have been about SOA. In telling us we did something wrong you also need to have told what we should have done, if it's not ready for a rubber stamp someone should be asked. My only concern with Hurdle 3 is timeframe, no way 9mths, before end of summer? 2, FCA thresholds, do we have the funds to do the initial period, I'm going with yes but if we haven't an early RI may be needed.
Hurdle 4, RI, if an early RI is need it's not going to raise significant funds so in my mind it could be good for holders as taking part should be more affordable. Other option is done towards then end of the 12mths by which time future profitability is known so a larger raise is possible, con - most PIs wont be able to take part and will be diluted, pro - company is well funded and a huge vote of confidence, of we go Amigo2, diluted PIs will have to wait a little longer to get a return, bottom draw them.
Hurdle 5, the FINE, fine balance here and surely FCA have to consider the work Amigo have done to address, maybe not. Personally not worried, if it's too big the company fails as a result of the FCA, dont see that happening, fine will be reasonable and we'll suck it up.
Hurdle 6, what the hell is my strategy now after two years? Think I'll still wait another year.
Any other hurdles?
