IMO....HUR likely to issue CB's in near future to buy back shares that are underperforming sp wise (as seen here recently)......after all they are SO cheap at mo it would be silly not to, an opportunity not to be missed now that the oil is flowing?

maybe you are placing too large a trade for the 'size of the market' of your particular broker (typically what size of trade the broker expects to be traded, so only keeps a small number of shares available at any given time) in which case break your big trade into two smaller trades which will more likely be met by the broker

for the vid!...the giant squid thinks our tanker looks DELISHIOUS!.....of course the test run will not be fully loaded with oil for the very reason that it is a (very necessary) test run....I'm sure it will go smoothly and we'll soon be loading up fully....it's very encouraging to see the size of the tanker chosen and how gorgeously high tech and squeaky-new it looks...... Just an interesting example : Tanzania has loads of gas and potentially oil. It is just getting started to improve the lives of it's people and needs to develop these to do this. If it does not it will not be able to pay off the debts it's racked-up building the gas pipeline and electricity power plants and roads and ports it will need to export from factories it is setting up to give it's people jobs. Not so long ago there was little electricity available! there still isn't a proper sewerage system and there are still outbreaks of Cholera because of this. They really need their petroleum resources! Nevertheless they have also been trying to develop sustainable energy in the form of a hydroelectric dam however this will stop rich silt reaching the floodplain of the Selous game reserve (a UNESCO world heritage site) and impoverish the environment and the farmers living downstream of it and the coral reefs offshore! Proves that so called sustainable energy isn't always what it promises and can be got wrong. Amazing what you can learn about the world being an investor in gas and oil stocks!

not taking into account the weakening and shifting of the earth's magnetic field ahead of a magnetic polar flip we are due which should wipe out most of the human population anyway - should also set off mega volcanoes when it happens. In the meantime humans have taken eyes off the rainforest issue and looking in the wrong direction at the poles not the equatorial areas which soak up most of the gasses in plant form once they're gone we'll all be stuffed but that girl and the politicians don't want to tell anyone they can't have chocolate or coffee - would go like a lead balloon wouldn't it!!? (so they're not really getting the science bit right, just chasing the cash cow of green taxes and using pre-digested pseudo science to grab power for themselves) in the meantime let's carry on improving vehicles and accept this is the general direction transport is heading in (though thankfully not immediately), be grateful the UK has a large oilfield to help it's economy in the current circumstances and not give away our assets cheaply due to media pressure. Big oil is going shopping soon and wouldn't put it past them / Britain's rivals to have vested interests in stirring things up deliberately. Rant over...
