the Halifax problem with finds was a matter of drill fluids chemically reacting with the rocks (as I recall from HUR's explanation) used for overbalanced drilling (using heavy mud to prevent blowout until they better understood from experience how heavily drills would be mudded in future) that is a separate issue and probably not relevant to this well as they will have changed to a different mud. In current well there is still technical risk re. a successful outcome because the well is horizontal so very great care is needed to ensure they get the chips of rock out of the bottom section while drilling. The well could still be a very large and significant discovery confirming oil in place, but if drill is bungled it may need to be re-entered and/re-drilled later - just guessing!
