the geologist replacing Dr T has a long track record of working for Shell........at the moment Shell are after a lot of UK assets including UJO licences, UJO is a very well run company with great assets and not yet stuck in a Shell farm-out like others such as DELT and EDR. Shell tend to do share-based farm-outs giving not much cash away, and are then in the driving seat as to when development takes place leaving the smaller companies struggling to find cash to continue their existence until Shell makes a move. Don't farm-out to Shell unless you have cash flow from other licences or the Shell scrooges could get the whole licence for free

I thought the plan to assume a higher OWC was based on prudence not evidence......where's the evidence? Dr T's latest thoughts/ doubts were never explained to the shareholders the only evidence presented was that the water was perched not aquifer.......they need to do some explaining

is shareholder rebellion to sack the bod and force a return of Dr T.......urgently!!!!!

it still makes little sense that the board ousted Dr T.....surely he's man enough/professional enough to revise his views on the geology if obviously wrong? But how can the bod expect a non expert(?) to come up with an alternative geological model to any degree of common sense? I still believe Dr T was right but there was not enough time to prove it and the wells threw up some scary wobbles which unnerved him and the bod into taking their actions which could well be overly knee-jerk and overly conservative...perhaps they just had to satisfy some bankers by means of a new CPR (in response to covid year wasted combined with need for future cash) I still think the water will clear and Dr T be proved right....but BP or Shell will make a low offer sooner than later...but only once sp suffers some more

to drill that offshore licence from WN onshore location.....the waters off the humber are very silt rich and visibility poor so offshore drilling may be tricky close to the shore......no doubt Shell will get it (directly or indirectly)and it gives them motivation to get hands on West Newton

whether or not Shell get the licence .....cheaply drillable from onshore?

about 32nd licencing round new licence area offshore from West Newton.....Shell likely to go for it but might it not be drilled more easily from onshore than offshore?
