it was put on display near their site for the required length of time as required by the council and no other requirement was asked. The council set the rules and we followed them. It defies credibility that a community highly likely to be in regular consultation with the council lacked awareness of a council notice pinned up near them.

In the photo of the lions head fountain there's a square trough behind it with a grey nozzle in it....is that where he gets his heating oil delivered to?

we didn't see his face so can't really be sure who was talking/ that it was who it was meant to be/ whether he was in the room following all the facts....

like your idea ....could the steam generated not be used for heating a greenhouse and cooled cleaned water be used to grow food?

of the man was a little shifty: touched his forehead then his ear and blinked at a fairly high rate whilst talking...in normal situations this is associated with concealment of truth/lying......however in this particular circumstance he is trying not to reveal the name of the company or say something inappropriate/too soon.... so he can be excused for body language indicating that he is withholding some information....so it appears he is telling the truth, just a question of 'is it us?'

I didn't mean greenfield, meant projects perceived as being environmental. Don't trust him not to include greenfield developments if he can push them as 'green'

but the NIMBYs and idiot councillors were too indoctrinated/blinkered/lazy to realise that

Boris 's plans would be mostly 'green' stuff as he can get his hands on great chunks of money at the public's expense to make himself look popular to other politicians and green-agenda indoctrinated children just old enough to vote who in past years have been subjected to scare stories and not taught about nature's carbon cycle and don't know what most of modern society's products and industrial processes are made of petroleum products and so have no appreciation for them or the skilled hardworking honest people who extract them or the small investors who enable them. Meanwhile swathes of rain forest and animals and rare plants in them are being lost for coffee planting and palm oil....today's 'green' isn't what it should be!
