I do agree with some of you that journalistic standards are pretty poor these days including the indy, and FT is very establishment controlled however better....but Dave Brown is a national treasure and a genius of our time who even struggles to get published by the Indy along with the other cartoonists on there ...there have been many times when the rag has tried to bury them behind 'i.t.' issues and shoved them way down the bottom of the page! what I like about him is no self-serving, greedy, ignorant or cruel bar-steward can hide from his sharp pen!

yes, sale process was back on in early december...as I recently posted here now sp of Spirit has dropped by nearly half what it was previously when sale process was suspended

has too many commitments to fund to be worth acquiring, only one or two licences it holds would be interesting, and then only once all it's planning work is done! it has held on too long to shale plays it should have given up on...in the meantime it does all the donkey work of operatorship which is useful to partners in those licences, but at a heavy cost to it's finances

maybe we could reasonably expect that DELT might be in a hurry to get on the phone? or (pigs might fly ;_)) ) Chryasor?
