The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode with London Stock Exchange Group's Chris Mayo has just been released. Listen here.
was due at end of April but not sure which assets it covered
There is a large USA military base in Australia (keeping an eye on the Chinese) in Darwin, in close proximity to East Timor - shows how strategic the energy supply is to the Darwin region and how friendly they will be towards East Timor. The green energy hub Australia wants there too is also of strategic importance to Australia...so there are planty of interested parties wanting the gas sold to Darwin
HUR investors were royally shafted by bondholders and a crooked BOD....they must be looking for investments elsewhere now......any share that wins them over will do very well as they are extremely loyal and a nice bunch so I really hope to see some of them turn up on here
but what I can say for sure where the value lies is..... the people on this bb! I have been out a while but still watched what was going on here and what I saw was an awsome team of very loyal investors...I hope some of you will join me on BOIL which is cheap as chips and just getting started for moving up and you can get holdings of millions of shares!!!! ps.bring the SQUID ;-))
Just bought some, pay day soon, be patient overhang will clear.
next week....wonder which day? only indication so far a vague 'end of April'....will need to check for rns's
relinquished PEDLs 330 and 345 in Feb 21 ...so yes Colter is dead duck!
https://www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/companies/news/906109/united-oil--gas-hands-back-two-licence-blocks-in-english-channel-906109.html/ shows continued interest in Colter/Colter South by JV partners but thwarted in acquiring an adjacent offshore area by a dastardly last-minute OGA boundary shift!
Advance cia Resolute relinquished all it's Wessex basin licences at end of January 2021
Advance Energy own 8% of Colter South via Resolute Oil and Gas (a wholly owned subsidiary), they also have PEDLs 330 and 345 onshore and offshore blocks Ballard Point and Ballard Point East (98/11b and 98/12)
https://www.offshore-energy.biz/corallion-finds-colter-prospect-to-be-smaller-and-colter-south-larger-than-expected/ no mention of Colter/Colter South on Corallion website
I believe Advance Energy (not long listed) have some of that, have recently done a raise. Their three managers are following the RBD strategy.
just noticed scribbled in my diary that a CPR is due for Corallion at 'end of April' (sorry no idea where I'd heard/read it!)
What sort of info will we be able to get from these at this stage of the EWT?
How's his beard these days?...if there's no still T/O of WN by Christmas he can be our Santa! ;-))
PMO and Chrysaor merger happens later today...new mid-sized to large player in N Sea area with lots of wonga and less snobbery than the majors....let's see if there's a nibble
It's like Ant and DEC they come as a pair
that's interesting.....do everything in an ISA myself, but interested to understand what others might be doing
re. tax year booking a loss in one tax year does not prevent buying back in that same tax year, although some might wait to next tax year to put in next years ISA allowance
RBD want to put EWT expenses in next years taxes......or a farm-in partner wants to do that? (just idly speculating)
