The construction division of the company deals with a variety of projects, from home extensions to purpose-built executive homes, warehousing and offices. Over the next two years an abundance of new build timber kit housing is planned to take place within the capital, Stanley, with the initial £4 million project most recently underway. There seems to be a need for more housing in Stanley. Not saying its linked to the planned development of Sea Lion but I guess workers will need to stay somewhere.

Interesting post earlier this morning GreySquirrel. I think judging by the shareprice movement recently that you are probably right in saying that the TXF article was a regurgitation of old news - although I don't recall a specific timescale of Q2 ever being nailed down.

I also found the above interesting too. Would be interested to know how they plan to do that as I doubt government bodies are likely to allow their hands to be forced.

When an RNS pops up in the morning. More than likely will be the Director/PDMR Shareholding and Total Voting Rights monthly update.

Bit late this month, maybe the Bod have been a bit busy. Here's hoping.

Interesting the way this sentence was worded. if they were stalling for time I'd have expected FID to have been quoted instead of sanction, and a timescale of something like 'this year'. It almost sounds like FID is a given but not stated. Next few months will be interesting. Could this really be the last opportunity to top up at these prices?

Just out of interest, I note that Rockhopper Mediterranean Ltd, Rockhopper Exploration Plc and Rockhopper Italia S.p.A are all named as claimants in this case. Should the case go in our favor, is any award made likely to be split between these 3 companies? i.e I'm wondering if the company we are all invested in, Rockhopper Exploration Plc, isn't going to receive as much as we might think?

I would also like to point out that I have zero knowledge of this kind of thing so go easy on the responses!!

On another note, papers reporting this morning that the former president of Argentina will stand trial for corruption. Certainly makes you wonder how much of her blustering about the Falkland Islands was a smoke screen! I don't think that the Falkland Islands will be too high up on her priority list for the foreseeable future.
That said, I believe in not guilty unless proven otherwise so will wait and see.
