Hopefully a lot of the points being raised here recently can be clarrified at the AGM which isn't too far off now.

A 12 year fixed contract, now that surely indicates confidence.

Hopefully the AGM will throw a bit more light on how the bod see Rockhoppers future.

The Tribunal holds a first session by video conference.

This has all come about off the back of a (deliberately?) leaked memo, most likely as a response to the U.S not getting full UK support over the middle east conflict. Hopefully by tomorrow this will become yesterday's news as other events push to the front, as they already are.

There is bound to be a bit of profit taking following the decent rise we have just had, so it probably will retrace a little. Would be nice to have a little push into the 90s on Tuesday though :)

Is the latest news likely to attract interest from the institutions now? Thursday's volume suggests it already has, in which case there could well be further rises. It's definitely getting more expensive now if you want to sit at the RKH table!

And hello 80's! Lets hope that yesterday's RNS put us firmly into the 80's. A slow and gentle rise up to first oil would be great, but you can't beat those out of the blue great RNS's which we don't get very often.

Hopefully word will start to spread wider from now with an increased interest in RKH.

Hi Supra3, that is some serious investment, way out of my comfort zone lol. Fortune favours the brave and all that. Hope it goes well for us all. This share looks like it will help fill the RKH excitement void while we wait for first oil. Who knows, REE could be even more lucrative for us.

Just wanted to pass on my thanks to the poster who recommended REE over on the RKH board where I have resided for the last 8 years or so (think it was avinapunt). Don't usually react to tips but somehow had a feeling about this one, either that or the tip case was very well put over. Only put a couple of K in at 1.4p and am now almost 200% up in a matter of weeks. Wish I'd put more in now but isn't hindsight a wonderful thing. Could this be the first share I've actually managed to get into at the beginning?

Then there is the potential for OM news and always the chance of a farm in / take out before first oil. Traders will keep it bouncing around in the meantime.

I thought we had 35%, so would expect the figure to be towards 20k at 55k bpd. And that is only phase 1.

HL showing shares in issue at 847.32m with a Market cap of £464.21m.

This would suggest a sp circa 55p yet they have it published at circa 72p.

Surely the post FID announcement sp drop from high 80s to where we are now was the market pricing in the new shares that would soon be hitting the market?

Thanks Mirasol, that is really interesting. So it is fair to say that projecting our future share price based on higher oil prices isn't quite as straight forward as first thought.

Interesting how it tapers away as the project progresses leaving us more exposed to the oil price at that time. I guess a lot of cleaver people will have been crunching the numbers on this to hopefully give us the best return at the lowest risk possible.

Looking forward to seeing how it all plays out!

I know very little about the commercial side of the oil industry so would be interested in the opinions of posters here who are more in the know.

Is it likely that Navitas will put in place various contracts to forward sell oil from Sea Lion thus locking in a price they are happy with? This I presume is a practice that hedges against future oil price fluctuations. If the answer is yes, then are we waisting time trying to work out what we could be worth if oil climbs to really high prices in the future as we wont be able to sell at those prices. Or perhaps multiple contracts will be arranged at various prices at dates in the future?

Second question is, can RKH do the same with their share of the oil or will they just take the same price that Navitas agrees?

Reading first oil in 2027 gives me a great confidence boost and makes me determined to hold onto my entire holding until then (at least). To think that in a little over 12 short months, 2027 will be upon us!!

Lots will hapen in the mean time which means the SP won't remain stagnant.
