Quite simply because UKEF will support any business that meets current criteria. Fossil fuels will be supported for at least the next year or two.

Carrot, how do you know that the PIM has not been submitted? Were you expecting to find it in the Link you provided? Its part of the documentation being prepared to support the application. PIM precedes the official funding application which should, if everything goes to plan, be reported in the 2019/20 UKEF annual report.

I liked this bit regarding the trust fund: -

You are making it all sound like a bit of a dodgy deal. If the UKEF application along with all of the supporting documentation doesn't meet the stringent criteria then it will simply be turned down. If it meets the criteria and is accepted, then its game on.

Why would you care what the directors of a company you have no interest in, do with our cash?

That's a bit rich coming from somebody with a clear interest in Nu-oil & Gas (formerly Enegi Oil plc) however I'll respond to a couple of your points.

1. Its a loan, the UK taxpayer gets their money back - with interest.
2. The Italians were happy for RKH to invest in exploration off their coast. They then had the rug pulled from under them. The arbitration will decide who is in the wrong. If RKH win then the Italian taxpayers only have their government to blame.
3. There seems to be rather a lot of new posters on here lately taking a pop at RKH, I wonder why?

Hmm, wouldn't rely on brent - look at PMOs sp performance in relation to oil price. We won't be extracting any from Sea Lion for a few years at the earliest so won't have much effect in my opinion. As for the rampers' efforts, thats a risky play. You planning to join them?

A perfectly feasable scenario regarding a buyout by PMO. It might also explain the long faces being reported at the AGM and why the Bod are not buying.

Could this be whas GS was referring to as the catalyst a few days ago? Guesses on the buyout price will be wide but I'd expect a nice rise in anticipation.

After all we've been through I'd be disappointed if this happened but not surprised as small PIs like us rarely come out on top. Would be happy to be a PMO holder though with good prospects.

A lot of very low volume trades gone through this morning. Lets hope some big ones start to get registered in anticipation of PIM submission confirmation.
