Looking to buy back a few GSK XD price dependent.

AZN, looks potentially more good news today on oncology.

If you bought 12 months ago, then you also bought

AZN following a fantastic multi year % gain, where the SP was very significantly

re-rated.

Fwiw we look to be in a consolidation phase atm.

Have a quick scan of a 10 year AZN price chart if you are not aware

how far this has come - ignore the 'mini' parabolic mid year 2020 run,

as that was completely unwarranted imv.

May turn out to be a very astute call, lets see.

Besides being pointless and completely unproductive

whining about a stock, or particular market is pointless.

We each make a decision to buy, sell or hold a stock, it's not mandatory.

So those who moan are effectively critical of their own decision making process.

Accepting responsibility for decisions and outcomes- that's the way to move forward.

Would guess many PI's have an average below £40 a share.

papucel, my orginal AZN buy is well below £70 a share.

One of many reasons - reported trades can be delayed.

Fwiw it's not something I would ever look at.

In my years on LSE I've probably given less than 15 "Strong Buys",

If I'm not mistaken in every single case it's been possible to subsequently

SELL at a profit - will only click Strong Buy when I'm as sure as possible -

obviously in the stock market there are NO certainties and it is always a case of please DYOR.

In terms of AZN, approx 20 x forwards looks fair(ish).

On a 12 month plus basis it's arguably undervalued as the Alexion deal

should be nicely accretive to FY22 - providing it completes

If possible to pick a few up under £70, that looks an interesting area,

may not be available at those levels. And that's on the basis

trading continues in line.

There is a case for holding both GSK/AZN, as many PI's do.

Paul Tudor Jones keeps that pinned to a wall in his

office, to continually remind him.

If you don't like the longer term UKX performance then perhaps

Don't buy a UKX listed stock.

The MCX trashes the UKX over any multi year timeframe.

Even amoung UKX stocks there are some incredible longer term

performers - Next, Halma, Berkeley Group, Experion, Diageo...to name just

a few.

Those who complain tend to be underperformers looking for reasons

and excuses.

Rather than complaining about a choice you have personally made,

select better stocks instead.

I read a woeful and I mean woeful article on Unilever over the weekend,

can't be bothered flagging it up on the ULVR bb as it's pretty much pointless.

Financial journalists are not sector analysts to be fair and comment,

in some cases, on a multitude of stocks.

Employ moderators that is.
