I didnt mean to sound derogatory. My interpretation of investors was simply those with a forward look of more than 4 weeks. An investor should place valuation on a company using a number of metrics and currently in my estimation Novacyt are undervalued and therefore insee value for those buying in now.

Alan - judging by your recent posts i can see you managed to buy in recently so i completely understand why you would be happy with the uplift. ‘Take a profit’ and all that. Goodluck to you and i hope you do well on your investment as i believe you will.

Well its a good thing you guys are not making the decisions at Novacyt. Why on earth would you value this company at £210m when its likely we will have more cash in the bank at the end of the year??

Surely it would have been better to wait for the next update? Each to their own. Goodluck with future investments i hope you can recover that loss pretty quick. It is very hard seeing the price drop 60% in 2 weeks on nothing.

Its not difficult to workout that this will be alot higher at some point in the near future. I spent my weekend re-evaluating my investments and my conclusion was.. if i wasnt invested i would have opened a strong position this morning. Proper investors will be absolutely gobsmacked that they can get in at these lows!

I dont have any information Obelix. Firstly, we know Graham turned down investors from his own admission. Who do you think these ‘investors’ are? Secondly, Huge buying pressure between 300-320 a few weeks ago and director buys. My guess is the BOD turned down an approach as it undervalued the company.
