Good point Blade. The instructions for use of the new test are no where to be found! What do they say that is so secretive and market sensitive i wonder.. hmm the word saluva perhaps? This could be mindblowing!
This is most likely a worldwide thing.
I travel to dubai quite a bit for work and they open the borders today.

A PCR test certificate is required so will need to get my Primerdesign test done soon : )
Was a good day. Attempt at £3.00 and fell back, expected sellers taking 10-20% caused a little drop off. I imagine we will have a few more cracks at it this week without news and once broken should settle between 320 -350 which will become the new 220 - 250 range. At £3.50 we are at c. £248m mcap with potential revenue to date at £170m. Still hugely undervalued with the newsflow in the pipeline. Exciting month!
Future potential earnings are not considered at all and they have estimated the whole of 2020 earnings to be £120m which we know is wrong. No consideration for future innovation and products. I would do the opposite of whatever fool say they are clueless.
The innovation of the winter test is benefit of working closely with AZ. Being first to market is absolutely massive. It creates endless opportunities working with the biggest nane in the UK with gov backing. This company will be mega in 12 months if its not acquired of course!
This has happend a few times before. Huge sells stacked at a certain price to drag the price to execute and then they get cancelled. This in turn encourages PI’s to sell and those sell are gobbled up. Someone is accumulating, just look at the 140k share buys yesterday.
I agree in the sense that it makes perfect sense for AZ to buyout now rather than later. It is a perfect opportunity for the biggest pharma in the UK to acquire the best diagnostics company. The future value would be much greater than any acqusition price. As they have such a close working relationship i wouldnt be surprised if they they have set some prior conditions for nova to meet.
With recent developments i personally think any potential investor(s) have been put on hold. If anyone is in the running to take us over then i think its most likely AZ. The company are diagnostics specialists who are a big step ahead of their competitors in this multi billion pound market. Why discuss a T/O now for c.£500m(ish) when you can 2-3 times that in 12 months if you can nail some major contracts on some new innovative products?
Thats right El gringo. Just the UK. I imagine many other european countries will follow suit including Germany our second biggest purchaser! Also dont believe it is a conincidence our new HT test and mobile testing are released at a similar timeframe to this new spend budget.
If in doubt read this from the previous contract.
Under the terms of the agreement, Novacyt will supply its COVID-19 test to the DHSC for an initial term of six months, starting from 4 May 2020. Novacyt has initially committed to supply 288,000 tests per week to the DHSC for use in the NHS, with the option to expand the agreement.
With the option to expand the agreement. We have the option. Now the government want to spend £5bn on lab based tests with high throughput. What are about to launch? We WILL land a massive contract pretty soon i am confident!
