I can see an acquisition of Optigene incoming. Makes so much sense, as well as the mentioned links i recall Graham liking one of their posts not long ago (you dont do that with competitors) and Angel saying if he was the CEO he would use the war chest to make acquisitons. Well he is the advisor. Interesting times ahead.

Im optimistic about this week. I think we will be well and truly out of the 2’s once and for all. Havent seen a single post from Paulo or the gang so positive on that front too, maybe the shorters have found there buy in price!?

Hani - if you sell and take the loss you will need to find a stock that can recoup your losses. If you know of another that has better prospects of rising 100% in the next 1-2 months than sell and move on. Personally, i am holding on and also sitting on a paper loss. This, for me has good prospects over the next 2 months. Remember, the rns yesterday was essentially a deivery of a promise from the company which is a good sign. The key from that rns is that we are manufacturing and selling those tests from yestwrday and with the comtacts in the 130’countries we are already selling to and the media coverage we should see strong sales in the next sales update. Also, we have other updates due so imo a lot of potential to move up very fast here.

Very fishy how that leaked out...

It is hugely frustrating sitting at these levels knowing only 2-3 weeks ago we were still undervalued at £3.50 on lesser news! The market will wake up at some point and maybe it does need to see actual numbers to believe it but i believe the numbers will be very good and so at these levels your investment is pretty much safe i would say. Huge upside potential and very little downside now. One of the safest stocks for a good rise in the next few weeks.

Keep an eye on the update this evening, the government mentioned back in April they were looking at the Exsig direct but didnt mention it by name only by description. They essentially described what we have launched today. We could be getting a mention tonight and a contract to follow up.

One more thing, for all the negativity on the price action. People need to chill out, you dont bring out three tests unless you know there is demand and they will sell. This is yet another revenue stream and they mentioned they have capacity to manufacture, if i remember correctly 10m is not the limit and we can do more if needed. All looking very positive and plenty of upside here. Patience is needed.

Exactly - most people will be happy to take 10-20% gains from the pst few days trading and fair play to them. Novacyt always surpises with the rises, omce the market properly digests this and realises whats to come we could see a crazy surge. Sit back and enjoy now, the trend has changed direction.

Sorry guys! i didnt think you would fall for it again. I was being sarcastic following all that talk yesterday. Nobody other than the company will know when we hear of an update. However, noise is that a pretty impressive update is forthcoming.

Surfie thats always a risky strategy, if we knew when to sell and buy will all be millionaires. In AIM a share can turn on its head in an instant with a drop of news. Im speaking from first hand experience when in my early days i was a glorified rainbow chaser, cost me dearly.

A correction is overdue. We should get back to £3.50 comfortably in the next few sessions, the vatel sell off is complete and shorts all closed (anyone know the latest on airain?) follow that on with some very nice market announcements sees us hitting new highs in the next month or so. Its not the sales pre covid im concerned with, its the customer base. An established customer base pre covid suggests they had contacts to get the test to market in the states very quickly. It would have been one of the main if not the main market market to target. Testing stats of the two countries is obviously vastly different due to the population sizes. So i guess i am just a little confused as to how Germany can be ahead of the US in terms of orders. My point is, considering the note in the most recent rns, we havent had any figures from the US in the sales figures recorded.

I know its been mentioned a few times already but i have just gone through the 2019 results again and came across this

American sales were up 13% year-on-year driven by increased sales through Primerdesign's key US customers

This tells me that they have an existing strong customer base in the States and so from a marketing point of view you naturally go and sell your test there and as much as possible.

Why is it then that Germany and UK are the top two purchasers? I believe that the sales in the US are being left out and we could have substantial additional revenue which hasnt been declared?

Well if it doesnt land today or tommorow, it will at some point in the next couple of weeks. I would rather see a steady rise back to the £3-3.50 region before any news personally.
