Vijay......suggest you check the T&C agreement, take screen shots of the Sale which should state Settlement time etc. It seems like others, you have not received the consideration into your account? Your transaction is not with the Buyer but with the facilitator ( Broker) and is erroneous to be told the Buyer has not payed. This is NOT your problem, but do read the Terms and Conditions. There was a very useful copy of the Market's regulations posted yesterday, read it will help.

Exactly, the Liquidator is not interested, is only there to dispose of assets and distribute proceeds to Banks and Creditiors. Shareholders will only come into it if there is any money left over, a very unlikely event. Don't forget you are not a registered Shareholder along with all who sold on 12th. It is all the more bizarre how the Broker is acting. Some believe Sellers will eventually get their money. I am not so sure. All the more reason for you and others to act in a concerted manner. IMO they (Brokers) have not covered the sale and are trying to use time as a weapon and bamboozle you and others.

Vijay......when did you sell? when were funds transferred to your account and when were they withdrawn? One wonders if it is just Equinitti who have used this procedure? It would be helpful if other Sellers can record their experience during the last day or 2 of Trading Carrillion. Many will be right to think the Broker is covering his loss....tough. As with Stanc read your Trading T&C. Maybe you should collaborate with Stanc and any other PI who has used Equinitti?

Snige in this Great Share Owning Democracy, the small Investor tends to be a minor irritant to Directors and Institutions. Cynical me, has little faith in Regulators coming out with the "Whole Truth", a back-sractching exercise will occur......X expected Y to do Z and so on. Apart from the current incumbents the previous CFO's, Howson and the BOD, all have considerable responsibility. No one person can plead ignorance, if they did not know they should have discovered. The most telling revelations are probably going to be discovered by determined Reporters.

Stanc do not confuse a " possible" payout from Liquidators, which will go to Secured Loan Providers, and Creditors generally. There will be NO distribution to Shareholders, and imo Nothing for Creditors Generally. Best of luck

Heres.......... Stanc should check the T&C, this could be fundamental to how Equinitti have acted. Take your point on giving cleared funds to the account which would allow further trading, however, playing Devil's Advocate, should Stanc have undertaken another Trade ( not necessarily in CLLN) on Friday 12th, has the Broker suspended that settlement? Using the reasoning stated, it would be Right to expect the Broker to so do. There must be any number of Trades with various Brokers, contracted on the 12th, and for that matter on the 10th and 11th, which would have been due for Settlement after the Suspension date. Have these trades received similar treatment to Stanc! It stinks too me.

It was amazing how he turned 180degrees in the last 2-3weeks encouraging, some inexperienced Investors to buy. It is unfortunate all gillpat's posts, the evidence, have been taken down. Far from professing to help people, he has been treacherous when on the Monday (15th) his posts were expressing overwhelming glee at the Loss inflicted on many named PI's.....quite appalling.

Stanc.... you sold when the stock was freely traded. Equinitti may have settlement terms which they should keep too. The Market in CLLN was suspended on 15th not settlement. The Broker has given a good reason why payment has been suspended. As I remember they had already transferred the consideration too your account but subsequently recovered. That is not good enough....diabolical. What you are being told is not fair and reasonable. It would be interesting to hear from PI's who bought on the 12th.......were their funds taken or left alone? The Broker maybe trying to have it both ways........not on. IMO and I stick by my earlier opinion, give them a deadline after which make an Official Complaint to the FCA. It maybe the FCA will need evidence you have gone through the Broker's Dispute Resolution Procedure....be aware. Don't give up.

Stanc....see what response you receive. It's not rocket science to just acknowledge your request and inform they ( Broker) is waiting for clearance of funds from "buyer". I would not leave it more than 3-4 days. Media involvement, as Cloudy... suggests could well get the desired result. It is surprising No other investor has received the same treatment. Maybe they are so resigned too the situation and have just written-off!!

Stanc... this is all on your side. You need to keep the resolve and press for the money which is due to you. Don't shilly shally about, ask them politely to return the money. If they remonstrate or just delay, contact the FCA immediately with copies of your sale and if possible a print of your account where the funds were payed and then withdrawn. One wonders how many other Shareholders have received similar treatment?

Seems to me the Broker is either protecting the Buyer or double dealing. Most Brokers will have a Settlement date, many will not process a Trade if an account has inadequate Funds. Some will allow a delayed settlement, however it is settlement of an agreed Contract. It is the Buyer's misfortune and not you Stanc, consequently the Broker should be in a position to retrieve funds from the Buyer. Would it be the same if the situation were reversed? I very much doubt. I would let the Broker know in no uncertain terms, I expect the funds to be returned immediately. If they do not contact the FCA with all copied documents relating to the transaction. Give them Hell.

Stanc.....perhaps cloudy....will comment, but to me that is totally out of order. You should take it up with the Broker and if NO satisfaction, the Regulator should be informed. Cloudy.......do you have an opinion?
