Guys please read the previous RNS (13th) where Algy agreed the sale completed today.

Scooby.... am no armchair expert as suggested, just merely throwing some thoughts for debate. I draw on experience of many years and have seen how Executives and major investors act. You may disagree, as some clearly do.but it is clear Cluff will need to raise funding one way or another eventually, and yes as Dick...knows equity for funds is not unusual and therefore anything regarded as theory is not strange at all.

It has been stated MS is hedging his bets. Apart from not knowing the average share value of his existing 10%, why should he increase his holding by almost 2%. Just look at the timing of the latest aquisition in relation to the RNS involving Shell. It has reasonably been suggested the existing Cluff Execs do not have the expertise to run an Oil Co. and that Algy is probably ready to hang up his boots. Scooby as you have stated back-room deals happen all the time. Is it conceivable a position is being engineered to enable a take-over which, hopefully, will not disadvantage small PI's?

Freedom of opinions is one thing, providing they are fair and reasonable. Unfortuneately these Boards attract posters who have less than honest reasons in voicing views......traders. They tend to use their scribing skills to influence inexperienced investors who can end up losing.

Speculation, imo, can never replace proper research.

There are any number of speculative outcomes, all of which may well be completely wrong. Guesswork is never a good Investment strategy.

MS is a Past-master of Corporate and Financial Management. Anyone here thinks they can second guess his agenda, think again.

He did dispose of an asset in November which released a significant cash pile. Enough to take out Cluff more than 20x. Maybe he needs to spend in a Tax efficient way???

Why state the obvious? Unless you wish to scare novice investors and then profit from their loss.

Investors here can see the long term value and, imo, will hold. It is (p)rats who try to influence the market for short-term gains who don't care a dam about anyone but themselves.

As I read it MS agreed to buy on 8th on condition the new shares will be added to AIM which they will on 15th.

Algy exercised his option on the 11th.

BRB agree. Some posters would appear to be on the Moon. Royal Dutch Shell is very innovative, currently moving into renewalables bigtime. This could indicate current Hydro-carbon reserves known and being explored, will be brought on stream quicker than normal to avoid the eventual Political embargo on fossil fuels which will happen. Just my thoughts which may wrong!

Dutch Government announced today Groningen Field is declining faster than planned.

In 2013 54bcm was extracted. This year 19.4 bcm is expected.

Groningen is operated by Exxon and Royal Dutch Shell.

Is it likely known and developing Fields will be brought forward?
