all royalties are from non sterling countries for 3aey, so should positively help if pound stays low. well funded to cover the whole year with no debt. and as majority of costs are in approvals, its nit hard to reign in costs if necessary i would have thiught. quietly confident in thus one.
Paxto is correct, the additional approvals are relevant to all of SE Europe area. And whilst things might not be good in Greece, extra revenues no matter the amount is better than no revenue, it still moves Eden in the right direction. Greek wine producers have more of a problem buying required supplies from abroad such as bottles and oak barrels than supplies of diesel from what I can see, but on the other hand Greek consumption of wine is 90% Greek produced and whilst taxes of gone up on spirits, they have not for wine, so spirit sales are declining, not wine. The extra produce that now have approval to use mevalone cs will also help with further extensions in other regions.
Greek partner website updated to show additional product approvals. All listed as last application 3 days before harvest. Will be good to start seeing increasing revenue from now. Seems a strange time to bail out, just as product starts to get to market. Eu referendum, if its the reason, Edens straregy uses local partners, so cannot see market access being an issue. i,ve already knocked 4.4p off original purchase price on average with additional purchase of stock. did not expect to manage that. if you want to panic over brexit, look at companies loaded with debt, they are the risk, not fully funded eden !
Have been checking web for marketing activity,. Sipcam looking good. Sipcam spain showcased the product on 4th Feb, and marketing material on website looks complete including the labelled product photo. Viña day Sipcam Iberia: New Solutions 2016 ( 4th feb, site has some photo of events, attendance looks good) Sipcam Italy (logy brand) also looking good, posted in March to website. Including the labelled product photo. ARRIVES 3LOGY ® , FIRST ANTIBOTRITICO "INTELLIGENT" Greece, wish they would add the photo of the product, but guess they were waiting for the label extension, will be checking again, but web site below seems to go into some detail about the product. http://blog.farmacon.gr/katigories/eidiseis/eidiseografia/item/1081-i-lysi-stin-katapolemisi-tou-votryti-sto-ampeli-apo-tin-k-n-efthymiadis Sales will come. At under 9p, price is good.
Not a concern, with the very recent RNS regarding placing, 2,6m raised + revenues starting to come in should cover as Paxto stated. Revenues may start off small, Happy to top up a little at these prices, after all these years, company is on verge of success, so surprised at recent falls but see it as a opportunity. Price falls on sales of 0.1% of all shares, seems 99.9% happy to stay on board still. Looking forward to news of label extensions, further market approvals , first sales revenue of 3aey etc. So hold for the good news.
Prelim results due soon, 1/2 year was already well up on previous,so should be good result. Current sales / royalties from 3AEY will show in next 1/2 yr report and show further improvement, looking forward to it. Portugal and France approval soon ?? Happily topped up this morning.
Previously I posted regarding the two products (item a below) which I had found related to terpene tech and Edens licence. I had also sent a request for information to terpene tech themselves, the interesting reply is below, looking forward to both terpene tech and Eden being a great success. There will be good news all through 2016 ! a) Here is a link to two of our first pet products that incorporate Eden’s technology: http://www.truffaut.com/produit/e-lotion-anti-odeur-250ml/218500/25356# and http://www.truffaut.com/produit/urine-stop-600ml/218411/25280 b) TerpeneTech has been approved by the European Chemical Association (ECHA) as an authorized supplier of Geraniol for use in Repellent and Insecticide Biocide products. We have commenced sales to EU companies who use Geraniol as an active ingredient in Biocide products and project first year sales of 5-10 tons in 2016. c) Working with an international company under contract (confidentiality observed)to bring to market in the next 6 months several products that incorporate Eden’s Yeast Particle (YP) Encapsulation Technology, including; YP Odor Neutralizer spray, YP Deodorant and YP Dust Mite spray. d) We are working with Farnam, France to launch a pet products line in next 60-90 days which will be marketed through veterinary shops. All pet products incorporate Eden’s technology. e) We are working with xxxxx ( removed for confidentiality by me) to test and commercialize several YP based agro-industry products (confidentiality observed). Commercialization is slated for second half of the year. f) We have completed extensive human testing on YP Head Lice Shampoo with results that exceeded those of leading brands. Testing has confirmed that Eden’s Yeast Particle Encapsulation Technology significantly improved head lice product performance in an easy to use, pesticide-free formulation. Currently working to register the product as a medical device and have initiated discussions with several major potential distributors. TerpeneTech, Ltd. has invested significant time and resources in the development and testing of products that utilize Eden’s Yeast Particle (YP) Technology. University, laboratory and field testing has confirmed that YP Technology can significantly improve product performance.
BBR article - Just one I picked for info on Botrytis, just happens to be US based. Outside of EU / Africa where sales in progress now, to get idea of future possibilities for approvals- First step getting of patents done in many countries for its platform encapsulation technology.- New Zealand, Australia, China, Mexico, Singapore, the Philippines,Canada, Norway, Mexico South Korea also has first patent for the key active terpene-based ingredients I can only see back to 2012 yr, but there is an agreement with FMC corporation for the nematode product in latin America, but cannot see anything to show further progress here yet.
For further information on the fungus 3AEY is targeting to get an idea of the potential of Edens primary product I looked at the below - http://www.practicalwinery.com/MarApr07/marapr07p30.htm 2 - 40% infection depending on type of grape and conditions shows extent of the problem for which Edens product has shown to be most effective.
Edens 3AEY can be applied only three days before harvest for wine grapes and 7 days for Table grapes which is a major selling point. And prior to harvest is when risk is greatest ( August to October in Europe ) From website about controlling the fungus to give idea of extent of problem - However, we often end up with only 2% or 3% rotten berries at harvest, especially in a dry autumn or a clone with loose clusters. On the other hand, we’ve ended up with 25% to 40% rot at harvest in clones with tight bunches, particularly in wetter harvest periods. So it would be reasonable to see a uplift in sales during H2 of next financial year purely because Edens product can be applied later than competitors. Applications can be applied at any time as the disease is present in dormant forms surviving over winter, so sales at other times of year can be also expected. This fungus effects many crops, expect it to progress to other crops as already in progress in Greece.
The analysis by Elartu seems sound to me. I would add that central point to TW's claim is that Terpene tech is not a real company when clearly it is and is selling product in France for the pet industry using Edens licence and so is already providing income to Eden, The biggest problem with Turpene tech is the lack of quality information via there website, for instance listing product types, but not the names. It took some digging to find the product on sale for 15.5 Euro via third parties. However you can also see the increase in revenue reported by Eden since terpene tech started sales. All this distraction and damage by TW will fade once results at end of March are released showing a large jump in revenues. Half year results already exceed the previous full year by 60%. As to is the deal good or not, only time can tell, good clear reporting by Eden as to income derived from its part ownership with Terpene tech and the royalities collected will help, so I hope to see this in future. In other companies reports in similar situation, they give the detail of income of partnerships of this kind. For now the wider world has completely ignored TW, as I saw in report that mentioned the drop, it was put down as unexplained. So we should just forget him and his accusations and wait for the full year report and the nice rise in revenues, and further approvals, speculation on this will make no difference in the long run.
Jsimbo says - just having a website saying they sell the products doesn't mean they actually do. I provided the facts earlier as to they are a REAL company with sales. The only valid point is that there website is poor on detail, but as they are not the distribution company ( they work in similar way to Eden) it is not the end of the world, I have actually sent a email to them enquirying about there products but since then have found for myself - Terpenetech have product sales via Laboratoires Agecom to sales companies in France. With a bit of research you would find this yourself, Products are - E.Lotion anti odeur 250ml & Toilettage pour chien E.Lotion séborrhée : 250ml, On more than one sales site, you can see for instance on truffaut.com for sale at 15.5 Euros. And the link to terpentech is there also - Composition: TerpenTech Ltd, Licences des Brevets N°PCT /GB2005/002011 (published as WO 2005/113128). Contient des substances allergènes : CAS# Geraniol 106-24-1 CAS# Geraniol 106-24-1 Eugenol 97-53-0 YP Benzyl Benzoate 120-51-4 Eucalyptus Oil 8000-48-4 Lemon Oil 8008-56-8 Orange Eugenol 97-53-0 YP Benzyl Benzoate 120-51-4 Eucalyptus Oil 8000-48-4 Lemon Oil 8008- 56-8 Orange Oil 8008-57-9 Agents Mouillants. Check the licence, its edens (which Terpentech pay eden for its use).
I would like to see no more placings, just not sure if will see in 2016 (but much reduced), if not , then in 17, but getting there for sure. For 2016, as you mention there will be addional revenues from milestones payments and sales through sipcam (3LOGY sales), and from the Greek company (mevalone CS sales) and more from kenya - Lachlan (Hawk sales), and soon fro the French company once approval is granted. And there is Spain and Portigal to come. Then Eden move onto to other countrys approvals such as Germany and other product uses. Personally, I like the product and direction, and having worked with approvals (not in this area though), I can easily appreciate it takes time and the need for patience. Have a good day Bill, Evening where I am so off to have my tea now :)
Whlst TW may have knocked the share price when it dropped steeply, it is more likely the ongoing market volatility that is dragging everything down at present preventing it from rising more on the recent good news. I along with many would not have know of his existance or his comments if not for this message board. it would only have been seen by the conspiracy nuts going to his website, sheriff of aim my xxx Any one can make 2 + 2 = 5 by cherry picking facts. look through all the news releases and you can see for yourself what a load of cobblers it is. For me, This is a good long term play, not a quick get rich share. Patience bis the key whilst the product gets into the market and the allowed uses expand.
Eden support themselves on a regular basis by an upfront placing to raise money and regular conversion of debt accrued during each financial year. At the point revenues start to increase, the amount of new shares issued will reduce on a year by year basis. So whilst there is some ongoing diluation of exisiting shareholdings, this should now reduce and then stop. As a share holder, your concern should be, once income is enough to pay the companies bills and start to create profit, how much will it earn per share. No one has a crystal ball to tell them this, but you can see 2015 Year H1revenue increased to 0.16m ( from 0.02M H1 2014), 800% up since terpentech sales started. 60% up for half year on previous full year since terpentech sales started 2015 full year, will be a big improvement, but I would be surprised if it is yet breakeven. (estimate 3m for this) 2016 year will be interesting, as revenues start to come in from the 3aey products. Note that Edens deal making means the 3aey will be sold over a much larger geographical area than terpene tech and so should produce a much bigger increase in revenues.
Eden in effect gave Terpene tech the funds to pay for the licence of the new headlice treatment, in exchange for 29.9% of the company. with net result, they got 29.9% of the company for 0.3m. Now Terpene tech have to get that product developed and sold which without the deal they could not. For Eden This deal could flatter the revenue depending on your viewpoint, but the important point is how much terpene tech will generate future income, and given how ineffective existing headlice treatments are becoming, it will increase. If concerned about the final figues for 2015, just take off the 0.6m for underlying performance without this deal. My concern with terpen tech is how wide is the reach of the product, so far it seems limited to France ? Not impressed by the detail on their website, it takes digging to find out what they are selling, I found through edens press releases. No detail on revenues etc, however there is revenue via the products mentioned. TW did not bother it would seem to investigate further. Just assumed it was a fake company.
Link was removed, company selling Terpentech odour products is called truffaut.com. Also can be found at price minister and www.toilettage93.fr. So it has sales in France.
what is alledged here is that a company called turpenetech was set up by people within the company. this company was then used to place an false order, To answer Jsimbos statement - If Terpen tech was a fake company it would not have any real business, It is a REAL company - It has agreement for at least two products with Laboratoires Agecom , those products are E.Lotion anti odeur 250ml and Toilettage pour chien E.Lotion séborrhée : 250ml selling for 15.5 Euros on the website http://www.truffaut.com/produit/e-lotion-anti-odeur-250ml/218500/25356#descriptif Scroll to the bottom and you can find Composition: TerpenTech Ltd, Licences des Brevets N°PCT /GB2005/002011 (published as WO 2005/113128). Contient des substances allergènes : CAS# Geraniol 106-24-1 CAS# Geraniol 106-24-1 Eugenol 97-53-0 YP Benzyl Benzoate 120-51-4 Eucalyptus Oil 8000-48-4 Lemon Oil 8008-56-8 Orange Eugenol 97-53-0 YP Benzyl Benzoate 120-51-4 Eucalyptus Oil 8000-48-4 Lemon Oil 8008- 56-8 Orange Oil 8008-57-9 Agents Mouillants. Check the licence out, it is Edens. Its a real company selling edens technology in the pet care industry, the recent deal is to enable it to move inyo the headlice area ( Eden directly work on the agri buisness ). The only fake appears to TW. Also for sale on ther websites if you take the trouble to do real research.
