Extract from Cavendish research note:
Outlook. Eden notes that it remains on track to meet 2024 market expectations for revenue, operating profit and the key financial metrics. As in FY23, we anticipate a H2-weighting for revenues in FY24E and maintain our existing forecasts, which anticipate revenue growth of c50% in H2/24 to deliver £5.0m of revenues for the year. We expect the company to close FY24 with cash of £2.8m.
— 2025. We anticipate the following significant updates from Eden Research in 2025: Mevalone sales in California; regulatory submission of the insecticide product in the US and Europe; regulatory approval in France for Mevalone to treat powdery and downy mildew; and full Ecovelex authorisation in the EU
Many thanks
Is there any revenue target for 2025 FYE ? Current market doesn't seem to be looking too far ahead towards a phase of sustainable evenue growth/ profit. That can only be symptomatic of fears for the short term cash position.
Cavendish in their research note estimate y/e revenue 2024 will be £5mill up from £3.2mill actual in y/e 2023
Hi - the RNS states the Company is on track to achieve market revenue expectations for the year - does anyone know what the revenue figure is? Thanks
Cavendish have today released a very positive update. As a long term holder, currently well under water, I do believe things will improve considerably over the next twelve months.
Hi Sain
The new staff appears to have added a lot of expense. They can cut that back again if they need to. They oviously do not need to do that or they would not be doing rhen opposite by adding new senior staff just recently. Lots of positive buy signals there ..... also in the form of a large gap up in product sales to support it.
Looks like just about enough money to last until June 2025
I wonder how much the recent 3 signings have added to the salary bill?
Are you being ironic...? That's one thing they do not do. The output is usually so dry.
Eden who normally wax lyrical with any annoucement are too embarrassed to break down sales country by country product by product
Let's face it they have been up and running with their product in the main wine producing regions for a number of years
I stand to be corrected but I don't think they are inclined to do so, make of that what you will, and IMO it must be regarded as a negative. I think for all the detail in the presentations on gross market size and product sales potential it ends up as not saying really anything meaningful at all
Hi - has anyone seen an updated revenue forecast for Eden? I'm struggling to find one, but assume all their commercial sales partners have sales targets in place. So Eden could provide a forecast, rather than simply reiterating 'potential' sector sales.
"Certis Belchim BV will exclusively distribute this nematicide, formulated with Thymol and Geraniol, based on a new microencapsulation and sustained release technology that works on all types of agricultural soils.
The new technology of this nematicide will help us solve nematode problems in solanaceous, cucurbit and strawberry crops. In addition, Eastman and Certis Belchim BV are collaborating to continue expanding the label of this novel nematicide."

Eden Research plc (AIM: EDEN), a leader in sustainable biopesticide and biocontrol technology, is pleased to announce that CedrozÔ has been granted, according to Reg. EU/1107/2009, a temporary approval in Greece for use on potatoes against wireworms for the 2024 growing season.
Cedroz, whose distributor in Greece is Eastman Chemical; Eden's commercial partner in a number of countries, will now be permitted for use on potatoes against wireworms.
Wireworms are the larvae of click beetles which cause damage to potatoes by forming a mass of holes and mini-tunnels on the vegetables. This pest is becoming increasingly problematic in many crops and regions, and farmers have very few options (most of them based on synthetic insecticides) to minimise its negative impact on the harvest.
The Wireworm-infected area of potatoes grown in Greece alone is around 5,000 to 6,000 hectares, meaning that there is a sizeable, commercial opportunity for Cedroz beyond its consolidated uses as a post-planting nematicide in horticultural crops.
Sean Smith, Chief Executive Officer of Eden Research, commented:
"The granting of this temporary approval indicates that there are no other commercially available, viable alternatives to Cedroz for this particular use.
We have seen in previous trials, and even under a previously granted temporary approval in Italy on wireworms, that the product works well and, as such, we are confident that there is a strong business case for this use."
You have to smile .
Nobody milks a deal like Eden. The French deal was first flagged up in 2022
Pretty much radio silent on the actual numbers involved
